'Waiting outside, ready when you are. H x'

'Give me a minute please n thanks :)'

'Sure thing. H x'

'You know you don't have to sign off on every text, I have you in my phone.'

'Force of habit. Just hurry up.'

I lock my phone, put it in my clutch, and then I go downstairs. I tell my mom I'm leaving and kiss her cheek goodbye. They all wish me luck as I run out the door (the best I could in my heels, that is). Harry smiled at me through the windshield and I smiled back, until I saw the paparazzi. Cole and I are already arguing enough, and him seeing pictures of me dressed nicely while getting into a car with Harry Styles is only destined to make it worse.

"Hey," I smile as I get into his car.

"You look beautiful," he compliments. "That's a lovely dress."

I blush and turn my entire body to grab my seatbelt in hopes he won't see my reddened cheeks. "Thank you."

He starts up the car and hands me a pair of sunglasses before he pulls out of the drive. I gladly take them and slip them on my face to shield my eyes from paparazzi. I can hear them yelling random questions and our names clearly through the windows as Harry tries his best to rush out of the drive without harming anybody.

We arrive at a huge building after about half an hour. Harry told me it was actually only five or ten minutes away, but with California traffic it took forever. He leads me into the building and past the receptionist who he waved at. I awkwardly smile and she smiles back.

"Warning you now, the other boys are in there too. They're either eating or shouting at the television because of a football game."

"Soccer or football? You're in America right now," I tease with a smile.

"Soccer," he says in his American accent as he rolls his eyes. "My bad."

I laugh and feel a little bit better as we walk into the room. Harry said it was a meeting, but from the look of it, it was just the boys and I in a room and somebody was going to come to talk to me - or all of us.

"Hey it's Harold!"

Harry groans and I can't help but laugh. Niall comes over and shoves Harry aside before wrapping me in his arms. "Ava, right?" I nod. "Lovely to meet ya!"

I'm introduced to the rest of them and I take a seat on one of the couches. Harry sits to my right and Zayn sits to my left. Niall is on the floor with Louis watching the game and Liam is on a beanbag chair looking at me.

"I feel like I've seen you before?" Liam questioned.

"Uh, I'm a YouTuber? Maybe that's it."

"No, no. I feel like I've seen you while watching an award show or something like that."

"I was nominated for choice web star at the teen choice awards this year? I attended and also gave an award. It was only a month or two ago," I try.

"That's it! I saw pictures of you on the carpet. I knew it was something besides YouTube. Although Harry showed us some of your videos as well. You've got a magnificent voice."

"Thank you," I smile gratefully. Liam starts talking with Niall and I turn to Harry. "You said this was a meeting."

"It is. Some of our management will call you into that room over there," he points across the room where there is a closed door. "This is the waiting room. They'll call you in to talk and then they'll call us in as well once they're done talking to you."

"Oh, okay."

And after about five minutes, the door swings open. A tall man comes out and the boys wave at him. I recognize him; it's Paul, their security and tour manager. "Ava, come on in."

I stand and Harry wishes me good luck. Nerves take over as I follow Paul into the big room. There are about five people in there, who all introduce themselves before having me sit down.

"Hello, how are you Ava?"

"I'm well, thank you."

"You seem a bit nervous," one woman smiles. "Don't worry, we're not here to question you a ton or anything."

I nod and one of the guys looks at me. "Harry showed us some of your videos."

"So I've heard," I smile.

He smiles back at me. "You've got a beautiful voice, that's for sure. Are you experienced with writing originals at all?"

"I write a lot, actually. I just never release any of my own songs." I stumble over my words a bit but I eventually get them out.

Some of them exchange glances with each other and another person speaks up. "Do you have a manager?"

"My mom is my manager at the moment," I nod.

"We're not going to give you this right away. We're going to send you into the studio and have you record some songs and send them over to us. We'll decide after we hear them. Do you think you can get us five songs in by the New Year?"

"I can definitely do that," I nod.

"Paul, bring the boys in."

Within thirty seconds they're all piling into chairs around me. Harry smiles at me before turning to his management. "So are we doing this?"

"We're half way there. Do any of you object to her being your opening act?" The boys all shake their heads and I let out a small sigh of relief. "Alright. After you get us some music we'll figure out final details. Give the receptionist your contact information on your way out please. You're all dismissed."

As soon as the door was closed and we were all out of the room, all of the boys huddled around me and laughed. "Welcome to the family, Ava!" Louis shouted.

"Not quite yet, guys," I laugh.

"You're pretty much in for the job in our book."

"Let's hope I'm in for the job in their book, though."

They all separate and Harry grabs my hand and gives it a reassuring squeeze. "I'm sure you are. They loved your videos."

"Speaking of my videos, who haven't you showed them to?"

He blushes at my joke.

He blushed.

I actually caused Harry Styles to blush.

Forget the tour, I can die happy now.
