               Chapter Five: Scary on a whole new level

        "It’s... beautiful!" I said in awe. "Just like you." He said with a smile. I looked over at him... he was perfect. I moved a little closer and he bent forward. His lips touched mine and I knew that I was his... forever.

        We stopped kissing and I looked back at the sun. It was almost completely gone, I heard my dad coming up the stairs to tell me to go to bed. I quickly hugged Alorn. "Quick! Go! Before my dad sees you!" I whispered and he jumped out of the tree and mouthed goodbye. I quickly climbed back into my room and shut the window. "Its time for bed." My dad said as he opened my door. "Ok" I said in a hurry as I put away my homework and got my sleepwear out of the dresser.

        "Ok, goodnight." He said as he closed the door. I changed into my sleepwear and hopped into bed. I instantly fell asleep and had a very sweet dream. But after a while that dream ended and a new one began. The first thing that happened in my dream was that I was talking to Vixion as we walked some where. We took a left and entered a huge dark, spooky mansion.

         We kept walking in the house even though it gave me the creeps. But... then.... I heard that scream I heard on the phone again. But this time it seemed more real... closer... I screamed and I woke up... I was crying. My alarm went off a minute later. I wipped away my tears, got dressed, ate breakfast and headed for school.

         I took a short-cut through a park that no one used anymore. I saw Vixion standing by a tree. I ran up to her and grabbed her by the arm so she couldn't run away. "What was that!" I said. "Was what?" She said as she tried to pretend I wasn't there. "That... scream... on the phone last night..." And as soon as I said that Vixion looked at me and her teeth... her teeth became very pointy and her eyes turned red. I let go of her arm and screamed. I turned around to run but I only got about two feet away from her before she popped up in front of me.

        I screamed again and I put my hands up over my face to shield my self. I felt a sharp pain on my rist and I blacked out. I woke up on a cold, cement floor... in the basement of some house. I couldn't move very much... I could roll, crawl and whisper... that was it. I rolled onto my back and looked around the room. I was the only one in here. "Hello?" I called out. "Is anyone there!" I screamed. I heard footsteps coming down what looked like a set of stairs... it was hard to tell because the whole room was dark. Man I wished I ate more carrots now! The footsteps stopped and I heard a little giggle. Then they started to walk towards me again.

        "No! Please! Just... just leave me alone!" I said as I felt a cold hand on my head. I heard another giggle and another sharp pain on my neck. I screamed but I didn't black out.  I heard more footsteps coming down the stairs. "Vixion... Vixion where are you?" I could tell who said that. It was Shadow. I heard the footsteps stop and a gasp. "VIXION! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Shadow screamed and I heard a hiss come from what I'm guessing is Vixion. The pain stopped and Vixion went to the stairs. Shadow and Vixion started yelling at each other in a language I didn't understand. I coughed. "S-s-shadow... help..." I felt the cold, sticky blood running down my neck and onto the floor.

        I started crying and I heard quick footsteps rushing towards me. Then someone picked me up and started carrying me up the stairs. When I saw the light I was filled with joy. They set me down on the couch and Shadow ran into the kitchen. She came back with some ice and pills. She gave me the ice and Vixion the pills. About five minutes after Vixion took the pill she looked normal again. No more red eyes or pointy teeth. She gasped when she looked at me. "OMG OMG! I'M S-S-SORRY!" She said and then she started crying.

      Shadow sat beside her and wipped away her tears. "Galaxy." Shadow said as she stared at Vixion. "Yes?" "What ever you do... dont mention this to anyone..." She said still staring at Vixion. "Ok... but... what exacly... was... that?" I asked with a little fear in my voice. Vixion stopped crying and looked at me. "Well... we're... vampires." She said with a smile. "WHAT!" I screamed.
