Chapter 10

Y/N's POV

"Here let me take over,'' I insisted as SpongeBob started washing the dishes. Feeling content with myself now that everyone is relaxed including Jimmy who mostly did most of the hard work being an engineer and a scientist.

"Besides, your good at taking care of Scarlett for me plus you needed a break, it's the least I could do since you went through all that trouble preparing food for us."

"It's no trouble at all, I quite enjoy myself when I'm cooking. It reminds me of my fry cook days at the Krusty Krab." He sighed at the memory. "But if you need me to look after Scarlett again..."

"No, I insist, It's my way of saying tha-" I was cut off realizing he wasn't beside me anymore and of course, I didn't need to know why.

"Here kitty, kitty, kitty!"

'Yep, that's what I thought...'

"Timmy and I are gonna head out," Danny said, standing in the doorway behind me.

"Ok make sure to take the list with you, we seem to be running out of milk." I reminded him as I finished with the last remaining dishes.

Danny nodded, heading for the door with Timmy following behind.

I decided to head for the room and rest a bit still feeling a bit tired.

"I'm gonna go lay down for a while for a bit, don't forget to feed Scarlett for me." I told Spongebob as he was entering the kitchen.

"I'll make sure Scarlett is well-fed," Spongebob answered with a smile.

I nodded and headed to my room for some rest.

Spongebob's POV

"Scarlett? Where are you? I got cat food for ya!" I called out, pouring the bag of cat food into the bowl.

She ran the moment I placed the bag of cat food down, she came running towards the bowl to have a bite.

"Aww, I bet you were hungry," I said with a smile, then sighed.

"I wonder how Gary is..."

"Spongebob," Jimmy came out of nowhere which startled me a bit.

"Hello Jimmy, I see you've woken up, you must have been exhausted from yesterday's event."

"Yeah, about that-"

"Oh, you haven't eaten yet, I still got food prepared for you!"

"Thanks but-"

"Stay right here, I get it for you-"

"That won't be necessary," Jimmy interrupted, grabbing my arm as I was just about to go. For some reason, he was gripping it tighter than expected. What scared me even more, is that his irises were smaller than usual, and dark bags started to form under his eye as if he never had any sleep for days. He muttered something under his breath but I couldn't make out what he was saying. It seems like he was in a trance and this started to make me worry.

"Um...Jimmy? Are you feeling ok?" I asked.

He suddenly shook his head snapping off from the trance he was just in.

"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine. I'm assuming Y/n is resting?" Jimmy asked, letting go of his grip.

"Yep."

"Good, 'cause there's something I need to tell you about last night."

~~3 minutes later~~

Jimmy's POV

"YOU WHAT?!"

"Shhh! Keep it down, will you? Have you forgotten that Y/n is sleeping?" I whispered trying to subdue his shouting.

"But why would you go there? Isn't it haunted?" Spongebob said, shivering at the mere thought.

'Here we go again...'

"Jimmy, that place got evil written all over it. Evil."

"And that's why I don't want you to tell Y/n about this," I warned

"Does the others know about this?" Spongebob asked.

"Yes, they know about this and soon I will tell Y/n about this just not now you tell the others the same thing."

"Understood, don't worry Jimmy, my mouth is sealed."

~~Y/N's Dream~~
Y/n opened her eyes as she was welcomed to the dimly lit hallways once more. 
"Not again..." She murmured, already feeling disturbed looking at her familiar surroundings. She walked cautiously through the hallways taking in the sights as she continued forward. Dusty doors welcomed her as she walked past them. Darting her eyes back and forth and looking behind expecting something to pop out at any moment.
*Splash*
Y/n Flinched as the sound echoed through the silent hallways, indicating that she stepped into the pool. The smell of iron was coming from it.
She froze waiting for something to happen only to be met with silence again.  She continued to navigate through the endless hallway until something caught her eye. One of the doors she passed was different from the rest and it seems to be the only one in good shape.  It was dark but its color was split in two, one side green and the other bright pink. Confusion and curiosity washed over her as she reached for the handle.
"I know you're around here somewhere.." An all too familiar voice echoed through the halls beside her. In a panic, she quickly turned the knob and yanked the door open to hide inside, closing the door behind her to make sure she wouldn't be followed. It was pitch black when she entered the room. Y/n felt her way around the room trying to find some light source to use. When the lights finally came on, she finally surveyed the room she just entered. The walls were worn and cracks can be seen in a few places cobwebs are hung from the ceiling. In front of her was what appeared to be a surgical table. Y/n's heart started beating fast at what was on top of it. Two figures were laying on it. One of them had green hair and was wearing a white t-shirt with a black necktie and black pants, the other had pink hair wearing a yellow t-shirt wearing the same pants color.

This chapter is kinda short cause of writer's block (Goddamit... D8<) and I was more tired than usual (this might be a while o_o), but don't worry! I'll continue this story as soon as I can! Thank you for your patients. :3
