He Watches Her

Introduction

I look at my phone to see what time it is in school in the hallway standing near my locker, and observing that there's lockers on each sides of the gray walls, as I slowly look up to, seeing one of my friends walking toward me and startling me exclaiming, "Hey Liyah! Why do you get frightened easily?"

I said, "Whoa, hey David" swinging my arm up toward my heart, while looking at him wearing a hat that was on top of his black hair. I started to speak while looking at his brown eyes, and his light skin, "I get frightened easily because my parents are always saying that you can't trust anyone in the world, so I guess subconsciously I just get frightened easily."

David looks at me with a face that's suspicious of me, I put my brown straightened hair behind my ear and glance at his Nike hoodie, "Hey, nice hoodie. I have to get to my last period, where are you heading after school?" David shrugs, "Don't know, I might just go home." I squint "Hmm, okay text me during class?" He comes closer to me, I start backing up "Hug goodbye?" David states, I say "Uhhh I'm good, I gotta go."

I start walking away, glancing at everyone walking away from the lockers, getting out of the dark hallway, to outside where it's very sunny. I see one of my best friends named Mary with her boyfriend, she comes up to me, and whispers, "Have you heard from him?" I whisper back saying, "No, not that I know of."

Our conversation finished, and I started walking waving good-bye, I go into class and I get a phone call with a guy that is laughing creepily saying, "I'm going to take you down Liyah." I look down and tears roll down my face, I sit in my desk and I feel like everyone is staring at me, my teacher, Mrs. Rose says, "Would you like to go to the office and talk to a consular?" she questioned, I said "No, I'm okay."
