Annoying Articles & Hospital Visits

My dad had arrived by helicopter and was sent immediately into care. He was in a coma apparently, something they chose to leave out when they told my mom the details. We weren't allowed to see him until he woke up and was treated properly.

Turns out, what Harry was doing at the mall yesterday was paying photographers to delete the photos and videos they took of my (as reported by like every tabloid) "meltdown." I couldn't even get on social media right now, it was all ridiculous rumours and long articles about my unstable mind. But there were no pictures, so I guess it was fine. And anyway, I wasn't particularly interested in being online right now. I had other things I was worrying about.

Harry and I were at the hotel with the boys and we all had been watching movies since like ten in the morning. It was now close to five.

Harry was being extremely protective of me. He wouldn't let me out of his sight and every time the boys tried to joke with me he would send them a glare. I was leaned against his side, our legs entangled and his arm around my shoulders. They were here until Tuesday, meaning they had only a day and a half not counting the rest of tonight.

"Can we go out for Chinese?" Niall asked as the credits of Grease started to roll. The boys had sung along the entire movie and it made me feel so much better watching them. It distracted me from reality.

They all glance at me and I nod. "Sure. There's a really good Chinese buffet not too far from here."

Harry almost seems shocked that I'm up for it but I hop up from the couch before he can ask me if I'm sure. He'd been doing it all day. Even when I said I wanted to hang out with the boys. At first I actually wasn't sure because I didn't want to leave my mom, but my aunt stayed in town to be with her so that made me feel better. I just didn't want to not hang out with the boys while they were here because I knew they would have a crammed schedule very soon.

Niall cheered and came over to where I was putting my shoes on. Slowly they all got everything they needed and warned security that they were coming down. Zayn wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we walked behind everybody on the way to the lobby.

"How are you? You doing better?"

I nod, "you guys are actually making me feel a lot better. Thank you."

"It's not a problem, love! Anytime you need a shoulder to lean on, we've all got two of 'em," he smiles.

I hadn't really talked to Zayn much because he was kind of distant or shy at the little slumber party we had. He's kind of opened up the more he's around me.

"I dunno, Harry has really bony shoulders," I joke. Harry hears and turns around, sending a glare my way.

"Do not!"

"Uh yeah you do, I would know because I lean on them a lot."

Niall nods, "you do have bony shoulders, mate."

Harry frowns and I leave Zayn's grip to go over to him. I wind my arm around his and he smiles at me. "I was kidding. Not sure if Niall was though."

"I know," he nods. "Otherwise you probably wouldn't lean against me so much."

"True," I hum. Just to prove the point, I lean my head on his shoulder as we walk. I smile slightly as he kisses my head.

We all got down to the car, only having to walk through a small crowd. Harry got in the drivers side while I got in the passenger seat and the boys all got in the back. It was the SUV their security used. I gave Harry directions and I was quite happy to see there weren't a lot of people at the buffet.

I grabbed Harry's hand and ran for the entrance, dragging him along with me. I told the lady at the front how many of us there were and she took us to a table and took drink orders once the other boys had caught up. Harry hadn't dropped my hand, instead he dragged me over to the buffet. I filled a plate and headed back to the table, Harry not too far behind me. I sat in between Harry and Zayn as I ate, enjoying listening to the boys banter back and forth with each other. I didn't say much, but they all knew I probably wouldn't in the first place.
