Once I was heard rehearsing in the stadium, all hell broke loose. There was recordings of my voice being amplified through the stadium on every social media that I have.

After I was heard, the One Direction band account tweeted that I was the official opening act for the American and Canadian leg of the tour. The boys tweeted it too, expressing their excitement about having me with them and how fans need to come for the opening act instead of skipping it or coming later.

It was the day of the first night and I had no motivation to get up. I was dead tired, but I couldn't get back to sleep with the idea of the show at the back of my mind.

"Ave," Harry hums. "Ava I know you're awake. Get up."

I groan and shove him back. He had stayed in my hotel room again after we watched movies last night. "I'm so tired," I groan.

"But it's show day! How can you be sitting still?"

"It'll kick in after I have coffee."

"Let's go get Starbucks then," he urges. He pokes at my side and I smile.

"Fine. Let me clean up and we can go. You're paying though."

He rolls his eyes. "Was that not implied?"

I take a quick shower and get dressed in jeans and a tee, with a cardigan over my shirt. I throw my hair in a ponytail and meet Harry in the hall once were both ready. Fans snap pictures as Harry and I rush to the SUV. Somebody had given him keys and had instructed him to pick up some things at CVS while we were out.

We got coffee first, then we walked over to CVS since it was only a few blocks away. I scrolled through my phone as we walked, seeing nothing but pictures of Harry and I walking around on my twitter. I show Harry my phone and he rolls his eyes. "I hate that they have to take pictures of everything. Our lives aren't all that exciting."

I shrug and then lean against his side. He wraps his arm around my shoulders and I rest my head on his shoulder. "Hey, at least we look hot."

He laughs and takes a drink of his coffee. He coughs and then laughs again. "Also hot; my coffee."

"No shit, Sherlock."

"Sit still, Harold," Lou commands, growing impatient with him quickly. "This is why I love Ava, she isn't so stubborn."

He pouts. "But you loved me first, right?"

"Sure, honey," she dries his hair and continually brushes it back.

I sit next to him with my feet up on the table in front of me. Lottie brushes makeup onto my face and I sit still so she can finish. Harry starts making random noises and I can see Lou getting extremely pissed.

"Hold on a second," I tell Lottie before she starts applying eyeshadow. I stand up and turn to Harry. Lou moves back and I lightly smack him on the head. "Stop being a butthead."

Lou laughs and thanks me while Harry pouts. Louis and Liam come in all dressed and ready. "Only ten more minutes, Ave."

My eyes widen and Harry grabs my hand. "Don't freak out. You're doing so well."

"That helps," I roll my eyes and take a deep breath.

"There's a ton of people here already!" Niall exasperates as he walks in.

Harry's eyes widen and he turns to Niall. "Shut up!"

I laugh and squeeze Harrys hand. "It's fine. Stop it."

"We need Ava to set up her in ears!" A stage manager yells from the other side of the door.

"Almost done!"

Lottie quickly finishes up my eyes and swipes lipstick over my lips. My outfit is looked over and they hook my sound box on before rushing me out. The boys give me a hug and wish me luck. Harry tries to kiss me, but I run off before he can. Every time he kisses me it confuses me and I need my mind clear right now.

I'm hooked up and I do my warm ups as I head for the stage. I crouch down on the lift and pause as I see Harry running over to me. He smashes his lips on mine and pulls away quickly.

"Don't reject me. It drives me crazy." He takes a deep breath and smiles. "Good luck, babe. Knock em dead. Actually don't, we kinda need them alive when we go out."

"Thank you," I smile and he walks off. "By the way, you have lipstick on your lips now."

He turns back and I see his cheeks are deep red. "I hate you," he mumbles.

"Your fault."

I hear my intro start and people start screaming. They hand me my microphone and I turn where I'm supposed to. I take a few deep breaths and close my eyes. The band starts up with the intro to Round & Round, then it stops suddenly and I shoot up from the stage. The song starts back up and I immediately get into the music. After singing Rock God and Hit the Lights, I introduce myself and tell a little bit of my background. I start up with Live Like There's No Tomorrow using my mic stand, then Kiss & Tell. The choreography is so much fun and I completely forget about my worries as I move along the stage and sing. There's something so thrilling about the feeling.

I take a short break off the stage and Lottie fixes my hair while I wipe my face and take a huge drink of water. Outlaw starts up and I run back out where the dancers are lined up in position. Next is I Don't Miss You At All, which is one of my favourites. The choreography is sassy and I love the way the guys play it off. There's so much character just in the dance moves.

The stadium has started filling even more by now. I bring my mic stand back out and Ghost of You starts up. While I grab water before I start, I spot Harry off to the side where nobody can see him. He smiles and blows a kiss, which I just smile like an idiot at. The song is kind of one that I get emotional about. At the time I wrote it I was so heartbroken. I guess it's still sad to me.

When I finish Ghost of You, I see Harry's gone. He comes back out for the last two songs; When the Sun Goes Down and Who Says. By the time I'm done it's much darker outside and a little cooler. I thank the crowd and tell them that they were an amazing first audience, then I tell them to enjoy One Direction and run off after taking a bow.

Harry picked me up and spun me around as soon as I was off the stage. "That was fantastic!"

I kiss his cheek and smile. "Thank you. That was so much fun!"

We're rushed off farther backstage and I shower while the boys finish getting ready. By the time I'm dressed they're on their way to the stage. I hear the screams start as the intro starts and I run over to side stage where Harry was watching me.

They sounded incredible. I love their songs so much and they have no idea. I can't help but wish they could do more songs than they have in their set list. The show goes much too quickly and before I know it they're running off the stage for the last time tonight. I watch as the crowd empties out a little and it's kind of hard to watch fans leave. They all seem so sad that it's over. It's crazy to think that I could have been one of them.

"Ave, busses are waiting." I look over and see Harry waiting for me with his hand out for me to take.

"I guess it's time to go home now, huh?"

He smiles. "Only for a few days before we kidnap you for three months."

I kiss his hand. "I'm okay with that."
