Chapter 47. Three Years Later

"Appa! Appa! (Dad! Dad!)" The 2-year-old Alec Mason called.
"Why, aegi-ya?" Chanyeol asked.
"Eodi.. eomma?" The 2-year-old who couldn't speak straightly because of the complicated words >_<
"Come here." Chanyeol called the young boy into his arms. "See that girl over there? The blonde one lying on the hammock by the ocean?"

The little boy nod.

"Go there, that's your mom." Chanyeol smiled.

The little boy left and walked like a humpty-dumpty. Chanyeol, looking at the little boy going to his mom, left him smiling.

// FLASHBACK //

"Here's her new identity and her new files. She's gonna be Julia from now on." Ji Yong handed Chanyeol some papers. "Please take care of my sister."
"I will take care of her and give her more than I can give." Chanyeol nodded.

// ANOTHER FLASHBACK //

"She'll be out in a minute.." The stylist said.

After a minute, a blonde Ji Eun, or Julia, went out of the door.

"What do you think?" The stylist asked.
"She's wonderful." Chanyeol smiled.

// ANOTHER FLASHBACK //

Chanyeol heard the achy moans of Julia giving birth to her son.

"Please Lord, help her. Please let her deliver the baby successfully." Chanyeol thought.
"Chanyeol-ah, calm down." Suho patted Chanyeol's back gently.
"She'll be fine, hyung. Believe me." Sehun smiled.

Chanyeol smiled, feeling a little bit relieved. Half an hour already passed before the doctor came out of the delivery room.

"Park Chanyeol?" The doctor asked.
"Yes?" Chanyeol cleared his face up and stood up after closing his face in his hands, seated.
"Congratulations! You are now a father of a baby boy!" The doctor smiled. "She gave birth to a healthy baby."

Suho and Sehun looked at each other in shock and happiness.

"Chukhahae Chanyeol-ah! (Congratulations Chanyeol!)" Sehun and Suho both cheered in unison.
"You are a dad now, huh?" Suho smiled.
"Yes. I'm so excited to see him!" Chanyeol cheered as if it was his own kid.

Julia was transferred to another room, where she could rest and stay for awhile. Suho, Sehun, and Chanyeol went to the room, carrying with them food, cake, balloons, and a toy plushie.

"Congratulations, baby!" Chanyeol kissed Julia's forehead.
"Congratulations, Julia!" Suho cheered her and gave her a hug.
"Noona, you still look pretty even though you just gave birth." Sehun joked.
"Yah Sehun, don't joke me. HAHAHAHAHAHAH!" Julia laughed.
"It's true!!" Sehun laughed.

Abruptly, the door opened and the nurse carrying their baby entered.

"Here is your healthy and bouncing baby!" The nurse smiled and handed Julia and Chanyeol their baby gently.

Chanyeol and Julia examined the baby and smiled at each other.

"He's so cute." Chanyeol murmured. "You did a very great job, Jagiya."
"Aww, thank you. And thank you for being here beside me." Julia replied and kissed Chanyeol on the lips; which was the first time.

Chanyeol had a smile plastered on his face after all that happened.

"I'll be back in an hour to bring him back to the nursery, okay?" The nurse stated and left.

Suho and Sehun took out their phones and started taking selcas of the baby with themselves and the newly-made parents. Sehun then sent the photo to Luhan. Then after seeing the cute photo sent, Luhan facetimed them.

"Where's the baby? Can I see?" Chen excitingly asked.
"Yah yah, me first, you know?" Luhan shrugged.
"Let me see!!!" Tao, Xiumin, and Lay shouted.
"Calm down guys!! You will all be able to see him!" Sehun shouted.
"He looks so cute just like all of you!" Julia joked.
"Waaaah~! Is that Julia?!" Baekhyun cheered.
"Yes, she is. And she still looks good after giving birth!!" Sehun bragged.
"C'mon, show us!!" Kris muttered.
"Okay, okay, chillax." Sehun replied then turned the phone to Chanyeol carrying the baby.
"Hi uncles~" Chanyeol pretended to be the infant's voice as he waved the baby's hand to the camera cutely.
"Wow~ He's so cute!!" Luhan smiled. "I want to squish him!! So cute~~"
"He looks like Ji Eun-ah! I mean, Julia!" D.O. slipped, but laughed.
"Can we touch him when we all get back to Seoul?" Xiumin asked.
"Of course, oppa. You all can~" Julia smiled.
"God bless you, guys!" Kris cheered happily and smiled.
"Yah hyung! Call me after this facetime okay?" Chanyeol shouted.
"Okay.." Kris answered.
"I'm so excited to see that baby but we're gonna be off in 10. We gotta go.. Bye guys! See you tomorrow!!" Luhan smiled and waved bye-bye.
"Bye Julia!! Bye Chanyeol, Suho, and Sehun!!" Xiumin giggled.

Then the facetime ended.

"Wooh~ That's odd." Sehun murmured.
"Why?" Chanyeol asked.
"Kai's not there in L.A." Sehun answered.

Chanyeol, who was smiling, suddenly frowned.

"Ohh.. Too bad." Chanyeol whispered.

Suddenly, his phone rang. And as expected, it was Kris. He handed Sehun & Suho the baby gently then went out to take the call.

"Why is Kai not there in L.A. hyung?" Chanyeol asked right at the moment he answered the phone call.
"I don't know. Hyolyn said he's been drinking so much." Kris replied.
"When are you visiting us here in Miami, anyway?" Chanyeol asked.
"Maybe tomorrow. Or later in midnight. After all, L.A. to Miami is just 4 or 5 hours away from each other." Kris answered.
"Okay hyung. Thanks. Take care of yourselves there." Chanyeol replied.
"Yes, thanks. You too. Take care of Ji Eun. I'll see you tomorrow." Kris replied then hanged up the phone.

"Peek-a-boo mom!" Alec startled his mom, Julia.
"Ahh!~" Julia pretended she was shocked and startled. "Come here, little boy!!" She laughed and tickled Alec.
"What's happening here? Hmmm..." Chanyeol pretended and went to his son and fiancee.
"Eommath thicklhing me!! (Eomma's tickling me!)" The cute little boy replied while laughing.
"Eomma, why are you tickling him?" Chanyeol smiled and gave Julia a let's-tickle-him-more look.
"Because... Why not?!" Julia laughed.

Chanyeol and Julia tickled Alec more harder and the little boy was laughing his heart out.

"Yah!! Stahp~" Alec demanded.
"Ohh~ Our baby's trying to stop us." Chanyeol joked. "Hmm.. What do we do, mommy?"
"Alec.." Julia murmured and gave Alec a let's-tickle-your-dad look without Chanyeol knowing. "Tickle your daddy!!!"

Alec and Julia joined force on tickling Chanyeol.

"Ahahahahahah!! Stop!! It tickles!!" Chanyeol laughed and laughed.

Chanyeol, who was laughing so hard, didn't notice that he was already leaning on Julia. After laughing with his eyes close, he noticed he was near her when he opened his eyes.

"Ohh.. Uh.. I'm.." Chanyeol stuttered.

Julia leaned in and kissed him on the lips.

"Yuck!! Ewwth! Eomma!!" Alec demanded like he was grossed.

Then the kiss broke.

"Shh, Alec. Your father and I love each other so much, that's why." Julia smiled.

Chanyeol smiled at Julia and his son, Alec Mason.

"Now, who wants ice cream?!" Chanyeol asked.
"Me!!!!" The mother and son both shouted in unison very cutely.
"C'mon, let's go inside our house and eat some ice cream, okay?" Chanyeol smiled.

The three went inside their house and happily ate ice cream.
