The readhead look down at the stage. He can see everyone looking at him with hate and disgust as everyone continuously chant for his death.

Right now he was chained up and you can see fresh scars in his body. He must have been whipped, punched and stabbed several times.

Those chains must've been the reason why he can't use his powers.

Cale looks at the crowd with blank eyes. He tried his hardest to save them and yet this is how they paid him. He can't help but chuckle a little.

Cale and the others are now planning their last move to permanently seal the god of despair.

They have decided that only him and Rok Soo will enter the temple. The rest would wait and make sure no one would interrupt them.

hen they finished their meeting, others left, leaving Cale and Alver in the room. Alver walks closer to Cale and hugged him tightly. Cale did the same.

These two are have become lovers for the past two years. They didn't announce their relationship since it's not the time. They are busy with wars and making sure the nobles are under control.

If they publicized their relationship, it would ruin everything as people of this era are against this type of behavior.

Even their teammates,comrades and the heroes didn't know about their relationship. They made sure no one knows about it even their family.

The two acted as a married couple when others are not around. Sometimes going on a date, feeding each other, baking chocolate in valentine, etc.

No matter how close they are, no one crossed the line. In fact, it was Alver who insisted on on keeping it traditional. Only doing the deed after the marriage.

Cale on the other hand, didn't really care about this as he only wanted to enjoy his time with his lover.

Cale and Rok Soo entered the temple.

They headed for the center and started their plan. The two of them started doing spells in order to seal the god of despair.

Ofc it won't go that smoothly since they literally plan to seal a god permanently. No sane person would allow themselves to be sealed.

The god of despair decided to do a mental attack at Cale.

Cale has gone through this a lot, so he managed to stand firm regardless of the powerful attack. Tho he froze for a sec, must be because of the image he saw. It was an image Cale didn't want to become a reality.

The god of despair struggled a lot but to no avail, Rok Soo and Cale prepared a lot for this. They made sure the incantations are right, and the materials needed to seal a god is of highest quality.
