Chapter 3. Feelings

Amaimon's POV

I have been staying at Ai's house for a week now, I really like it here. During week days she has school so I'm on my own most of the time, since her mother can't see me. I guess only some humans can see me...

It was now Friday evening, Ai came home from school and went straight upstairs to do homework. I was sat on her bed looking at the sheets she had to complete.
"Wow... This looks hard.." I said looking confused
"It isn't! I can do it!" She laughed. She then grabbed the sheet and placed it onto her desk and after 5 minutes she had completed it. My jaw dropped, and she giggled.

It was 9:00pm, Ai was getting ready for bed and I was sat in the corridor, allowing her to change. I didn't need sleep since I was a demon, so I sat on the end of the bed until I dozed unexpectedly. I must've been really tired... The next morning I woke up really early. Ai was still asleep so I sat on her bed looking around for something to do. I found some books so I stood up and walked to the bookshelf and picked out a book. It was called 'Memories' I opened it and there were pictures of Ai and... A man...
"My dad..." I heard a voice from behind me, I turned around to see Ai looking over my head at the book. "This is my book of memories from when I was a little kid..."
"What happened to your dad?" I asked
"He passed away... Cancer..." She responded trying not to cry.
"Ohhh... I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked..." I regretted asking. She looked at me and smiled with tears in her eyes.
"Its OK..." She said and all of a sudden I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist... I looked at her, confused.
"This is called a hug" she told me and I wrapped my arms around her. "That's it!" She giggled and I pulled her in closer. I felt even warmer... My heart felt like it was going to explode! What was going on? Ai poked my cheeks which made me go even redder than I already was.
"Whats the matter? You not feeling well?" She asked looking worried. I shook my head.
"I feel fine... I dont understand what's happening to me..." I responded.
"Ohhh! I think I know! You're experiencing emotions!" She laughed. I looked at her with my usual blank expression but raised a brow. Was she right? Was I experiencing emotions? Hm... I think brother mentioned something about feeling like this... He called it falling in love or something... I can't remember so well...
"Ai, do you know what 'falling in love' is?" I asked her. She giggled
"Yeah! Its when someone has attractions to someone else! Like... Say... My mum and dad! They were in love" she responded.
"That's it! I'm in love!" I yelled. She went bright red.
"W-with who?" She said awkwardly
"I think with you?" I responded, I saw her face go bright red.
"I-I feel the same..." She whispered. I looked at her, I felt my own face go red. She looked at me, smiling with a bright red face. All of a sudden her mother walked in and saw Ai talking to thin air. She smiled at her daughter.
"Are you ok dear? You look a bit red!" She asked and Ai nodded.
"Y-yeah I'm fine, mother!" She responded and her mother walked out of the room.

I am loving this so far! THE KNOWLEDGE, IT FILLS ME!!!
