It all happened so fast.
Faster than I could comprehend. Faster than I could believe.
I thought we had her. I really thought there would be some success. We had her tied down, we had her! Until that stupid blonde bitch called out, sending titans running to eat her. At first I wondered what the hell she was thinking, but I realized it allowed her to transform out of her titan form without any notice.
Then my squad. Damn it, Eren really should have transformed. Even so, she still got him. Mercilessly ripping his head of and eating him.
Damn it damn it damn it!
Here I was, standing. I was the last one in my squad who had survived, and even though this was my first time facing a situation where I was the last alive, there was a strange nostalgia overcoming me. Maybe it was because I had faced so much loss since I joined, who knows.
And just like I said, Eren was eaten by the titan, or at least I think he was. I stood in the middle of the ground, surrounded by the unnerving scenery of my fallen teammates. I couldn't help but feel that their blood was on my hands.
I stared up at the titan, her menacingly sharp glare staring me down from above psychotically. I even saw a small smile rise on her lips.
I know Captain Levi told me to stop pushing myself. But I joined the Survey Corps to give my life for this job, and right now I want nothing more than to gut this bitch inside out.
I drew my swords, and didn't blink as my hooks shot into a tree high above. Instantly, she reached to grab the wires of my gear, causing me to retract them as I landed on a thick branch. Luckily it was fast enough for her hand to just waver in the air missing me just barely.
I jumped off the tree, pushing my legs off the wood with all the strength I could to send myself shooting towards her. I didn't use any hooks, praying I wouldn't get pushed down before I could shoot them out when I needed to. My body dove into her direction, and I spun around with my swords armoring me from her attempted grasps.
I roughly landed on her shoulder, harshly smacking into the side of her face. I got up at soon as I could, and noticed the back of her neck hardening, then her hand swinging towards me. In a swift movement I glided my swords and sliced her fingers of, then turned around by reflex as her other hand was coming at me.
I did the same action, and as she began to heal her hands I used this time to start cutting through the side of her neck with as much force as possible. It only was a moment until a wind blew against my back as her hand came rushing to me. I quickly used my gas and hooked myself to another tree, and then shot to another tree behind her. I pushed off and came at her neck again from the back, but then she placed both hands over her nape.
"Fine" I groaned with pain filling my voice as I continued to swing around the forest coming straight at her with fearless attacks. The speed I was going at was much faster than my usual performance, "If your gonna cover-"
I cut around her arms to weaken them as the were held up behind her head, "-your nape, then I'll just cut you from the front of your neck!"
The insides of my body ached, and screamed at me to stop. As she had killed my other comrades, she nearly killed me by slamming my body to the ground from the air. I don't know how I'm alive, but I'm taking it as a message from the universe that I need to kill her.
