Border Skirmish

Dragonfang flew through the trees alongside Brindlestep and Sunnypaw. Soon Raven halted. "Swiftclan." She narrowed her eyes. "And.." She glanced over. "Roseleap?" Dragonfang would get in a low position, and hide, her clanmates following. "Isn't that Spiritpath?" Brindlestep mumbled. "It is." Dragonfang confirmed, and continued to watch.

"You know I came here for herbs, actually." Roseleap blinked. "But I must ask, how's that loner doing?"  Rose has a smug expression. Spiritpath growled. "Oh, shut up about her Rose. She isn't even into you." Roseleap scoffed. "Don't say that when she leaves you for me." Spiritpath hissed back, "Whatever, you got your herbs, now scram before I make you!" Roseleap flinched and growled. "Whatever." She then turned and flew off. 

Moon approached Spiritpath. "What was that all about?" "Rose just being stupid." "Isn't she your cousin or something?" "Yes, but that doesn't mean we get along." "Whatever then. Just come on back to-" "Stop!" Dragonfang hissed, emerging from the bush, making Spiritpath and Moon jump back. "Wh-" Spirit started, but Dragonfang finished for him. "Why were you threatening out medicine cat!" She snapped. "Well. You see.. I-" Spiritpath tried to explain, but Dragonfang leapt at him, pinning him. "Wh- Ey!" Moon snapped, and tried to run over, but tripped and hissed in pain. Her leg was broken and it didn't help trying to run. Spiritpath struggled, and tried to kick the larger she off, but Dragonfang only put a claw to his throat. "Threaten her again and I'll-" Suddenly, she was rammed into by a large swiftclan cat. Sharpzephyr. "Leave him alone, Dragonfang!" Sunnypaw and Brindlestep then leapt out. "Woah woah- We- We don't need to argue over this. Dragonfang, let's just go back-" Brindlestep began, but Dragonfang hissed. "Why should I? He would've attacked Roseleap!" Sunnypaw pouted. "Please!" Dragonfang hissed. "Ngh.. Fine! You haven't won, swiftclan!" She hissed and darted off with her patrol. 

Dragonfang hissed as she arrived back in camp. "Is Roseleap here?" Swiftpaw looked up. "She's in her den." Dragonfang nodded and padded off. 

"Roseleap?" She peered into the den. Roseleap had her back turned to the entrance, and flinched. She quickly wiped her face. "Oh- Hi, Dragonfang..!" She whipped around. "Are you alright?" Dragonfang said. "Yep! How was the patrol?" The large black she narrowed her eyes. "Changing the subject, ay?" Roseleap blinked. "Well, yeah." Dragonfang sighed, and turned. "Whatever, Roseleap. Just be careful next time you head out." "Ah- Er- Okay." Dragonfang left the den.

"Are you okay, Spiritpath?" Sharpzephyr asked as they walked back to camp. "Mhm." The tom responded. "Alright. Let's get back to camp." Sharpzephyr said, and raced off. "Race you, loser!" Spirit smirked, but glanced at Moon, and shook his head. "He's on his own." Spirit smiled, looking at Moon. The two had a conversation until they arrived back at the camp.

"You guys are SO slow!" Sharpzephyr hissed. "And you're so childish." Moon responded with a smug expression, making Spirit laugh out loud. "Man-" Sharpzephyr hissed, but turned and stormed off. Spirit chuckled. "Boy, that was funny." Moon gave a slight smile, which made Spirit freeze. Something shined in his eyes, before he shook his head. "Hah- anyways, let's grab something to eat, I'm starving!"

Angelseeker would stare at Sagestrike. "Why do I have to get herbs for you? I'm not the medicine cat. You are." She complained. To which, he replied "Are you really going to complain to a higher-upper?" Angelseeker shrunk back, making Sagestrike chuckle. "Just kidding. Unless?" The she-cat hissed. "Don't mess with me like that!" He gave a smug expression. "Yeah, yeah Angel." "Whatever Sage."

Snakepaw approached Sagestrike. "Sage? My head hurts, can I-" The apprentice was cut off. "Poppy seeds? Here." Snakepaw blinked. "Okay.. Thanks." He turned and padded off. 

Angelseeker blinked and smirked. "Wow. Know it all." She mocked. Sagestrike growled. "Mhm, mrs. popular with your stupid pelt. I bet you can't even hunt because you don't blend in!" She gasped. "How could you insult my pelt!-" Sagestrike chuckled. "Exactly. You're so dramatic. Go join the hunting patrol and come back with your answer." Angelseeker never backs down from a challenge, and ran off to join the patrol. "..If only the clan knew." Sagestrike mumbled, disappearing into his den.
