Background: Fuyu was born in winter, hence his name. Fuyu grew up in Miyagi all his life, living with his parents and pet rabbit. He met Kazuhito Narita in elementary school, when he saw him playing with a volleyball. Fuyu decides to enroll in Karasuno High School, since Kazu is a student there. In junior high school, Fuyu was in a serious relationship with a girl he thought was the love of his life. Sadly, when he found out that she cheated on him, he gave up on love for good.
