It was Charlotte's first day at her new school. This school was like her old one, it wasn't strict, it had a uniform though. Charlotte wore a navy blue hoodie, Canterbury pants and white converse. She walked into school and looked around, she didn't know anyone and she didn't know where to go. Some girls walked past her, stared and giggled. Then Charlotte felt a hand touch her shoulder, she spun around quickly expecting some snobby girl to be there so she got her fist ready, but it turned out to be Luke.
"Hey! You look lost," Luke laughed,
"Well, I kind of am" Charlotte said blushing,
"Would you like to come chill with me and my buds?"
"Uhh, yeah sure, that could be fun I guess" Charlotte said
So Charlotte and Luke walked over to Calum, Michael and Ashton.
"Guys do you remember Charlotte from the other day? She's my new neighbour." Luke said sounding very happy
"Hey Charlotte! You're the one that said you liked our music right?" Calum questioned.
"Yeah, but I'm sure many people like your music."
"Well, we've never actually performed. So you're one of the only people that have heard our music," Ashton replied.
"Yous should perform in front of the school one day,! I'm sure they'll love you!" Charlotte said extremely excitedly.
"Haha yeah well, I don't have the guts. Luke, Ashton and Calum do, but I don't." Michael said looking unhappy and sounding it too.
"Don't worry Michael, you're not the only that has stage fright. If my voice sounded any good I'd probably have stage fright too"
Michael smiled looking down at his guitar.
"I'm really craving a smoke right n... I mean what?" Charlotte had accidentally let it slip out of her mouth. "Shit!"
"You smoke?!" Luke stood back
"Well, yeah, but my mums trying to make me quit. It's only because my life is shit and in a way it helps me relax."
"That's pretty gross Charlotte, and I don't think I could be friends with a smoker, especially someone your age," Luke exclaimed.
"Yes I know! But I!.." Charlotte threw her head on her hand to cover her eyes and started running towards the girls bathroom.
"You've done it now Luke" Calum giggled
"It's not funny Calum!" So Luke started running after Charlotte to hopefully catch her before she got inside.
"CHARLOTTE!!!"
Charlotte just made it into the bathroom, Luke turned around and started walking back to where his friends were sitting.
The bell went so Luke walked to roll call hoping Charlotte would be there.
