( 3rd POV ) In Marley " What is your name kid ? " Commander Magath asked . " Y/N L/N sir . " You are Y/N L/N , a five year old girl . You are starting your first day of training to become an Honorary Marleyan Warrior and the holder of the War Hammer Titan .
( Y/N POV ) After Commander Magath asked me my name and why I was here he moved to the next person , a boy who had black hair , green eyes , and looked to be about 2 years older than me . I wonder what his name is .
" Who are you ? " Commander Magath asked the boy who I now noticed was quite a bit taller than the others . " M-my name is B-Bertholdt Hoover sir . " The boy named Bertholdt said stuttering timidly , answering mine and Magaths question .
Magath then moved on to questioning the other kids , but I didn't pay attention , I was to busy looking at Bertholdt . And then we made eye contact . I looked away immediately . My heart started beating fast and my face felt hot but , I couldn't understand why .
After everyone introduced themselves to Commander Magath , we started going over rules and then basic hand - to - hand combat where we got paired in twos .
Commander Magath then began to announce the pairs . " Braun and Leonhardt , the younger Galliard and Finger , the older Galliard and R/P , Hoover and L/N , those are your partners , now find a spot and begin ! " ( R/P is just a random person ) Oh my God did he just pair me with Bertholdt !
" H-hello ! Your name was Y/N right ? " The shy voice I heard earlier snapping me out of my thoughts . Now it was my turn to stutter . " Y-y-yes that's m-me ! You said your name w-was Bertholdt ? " I felt that hot feeling on my face again .
" That's my name but , are you ok your face is kinda red ? " And honestly I don't know I've never felt so , nervous . " I'm fine , we should probably find a spot to train ! "
" Yeah ! Let's go ! "
After hand to hand combat , learning how to shoot , and running with firearms , we had a thirty minute break to eat and rest .
During the break I met the other candidates . Their names were Reiner Braun , Pieck Finger , Annie Leonhart , Porco Galliard , Marcel Galliard , and a boy who was a lot older than everyone else . His name was Zeke Jaeger and I found out he was the successor to the Beast Titan .
The day was over and there were 8 candidates left , Me , Reiner , Annie , Pieck , Porco , Marcel , Zeke , and Bertholdt .
