I woke and as normal all my days are the same. Seeing unopened messages from Armin and Bertholdt that I'm not going to respond to. I get up brush my teeth and head downstairs. My mom made breakfast as always but I always shrug it off as I don't want to be late which in every case I end up being early with the free pass to take my time and listen to music on my way to school. Armin is already there,
"Hey eren!" He greets me with a huge smile on his face. I'm never surprised to see him there as he always wants to be the first kid in the library to read some books.
"Someone's happy to be here" I replied.
"Yeah they got the next book in my favorite series!"
I smirk and reply with a simple "that's cool" and he smiles and moves on to the next topic,
"Anyways eren I wanted to see if you could help me with this upcoming school project, bertholdt got caught up with work so he said he couldn't come-"
I cut him off.
"Sounds boring count me out"
"Eren I really need your help with this" he replied
"I don't want to be the reason you fail if I give you a wrong answer" I say trying to make up excuses.
"Eren please! I really need your help and I'm sure they have some novels your find interesting in the library!" That suddenly peaked my interest, "fine" armin smiled and we were off to class.
Class was always so boring I already knew what they were teaching so there's no use paying attention, I stared at the clock in the back in each class until school was finally over. Armin ended up meeting me at the front of my classroom door and told me he wanted to start working on the project immediately, I rolled my eyes as we walked towards the library. We ended finding a table and he ran and grabbed the books he needed while I sat at the table tracing my finger across it. Armin came back with a stack of books in his hand,
"You sure that's enough?" I say sarcastically
"Maybe not I saw some other good ones on the shelf" he said leaving a shocked expression on my face.
Some time passes and I decide to go look at the novels. I end up picking out one of the ones I've read before but it was a good one so I settled with it, I went back to the table and started staring off, I saw someone looking at a book in a section I've never been before. Armin is talking about the project but his words blur out
"Wow she's beautiful" I say
"We're you even listening to me?" Armin says in a aggravated tone
Who's she? I reply
"Oh her? She's always in that section, she lowkey creeps me out by how much she's in here- maybe even more then me." He says which surprises me considering he comes here almost everyday
The last bell rings which is our sign that school doors will be locking soon. I wondered if I'd ever see her again, hmm might have to start coming to the library more I thought to myself. We ended up packing up our stuff and I went to go look at her one last time but it's like she had disappeared.
"Odd where'd she go?" I say
"No clue but we need to hurry or we'll get locked in."
Armin says.
Yeah I say grabbing myself and heading out the school, we end up splitting up at the front entrance of my neighborhood and I go to inside my house up the stairs and straight to my room.
Wow she really was beautiful. I thought to myself As I slowly start to fall asleep
