After Autumn and Daniel's almost kiss the two hadn't spoken to each other, as in every time Daniel approached her, she would run in the other direction.
Even when he would go to her house Anthony would answer the door and say that she wasn't there, when she clearly was. The two didn't even meet up for their tutoring sessions anymore but Daniel would always go to Shelly's just in case Autumn was there.
Autumn was confused about what happened and didn't want to face Daniel because she didn't have the guts to face reality, she didn't want to get hurt, she didn't want to hurt him.
Andrew was making the situation for Daniel even more worse as he kept pestering Daniel about the bet, making Daniel want Autumn to talk to him even more so Andrew can off his back. Plus time was running out.

"So are you going to tell me why you're avoiding Anderson?" Jude said as the two were walking to class, taking a different route so they wouldn't bump into Daniel.
"What!?" Autumn chuckled nervously, "I'm not avoiding him."
"Oh really?" Jude mused. "So for the past two weeks you haven't bunked Calculus more than four times?"
"Okay you have a point."
"No shit." Jude mumbled.
Autumn grabbed Jude's arm and pulled her into a classroom making sure it's empty, she than turned to face Jude she then took a deep breathe before explaining what happened on the night of the party.
"Oh my god." Jude gasped.
"I know."
"You nearly kissed Daniel Anderson."
"I know."
"And Anderson has the hots for you."
"I kn- what no he doesn't."
"Yes he so does."
"No he so does not."
"You're blind." Jude said watching as Autumn sat down on a chair. "What are you going to do?"
"Nothing." Autumn said wiping her hand over her face.
"So you're just going to ignore him for the rest of your life?"
"No." Autumn said. "Just till the end of the year than I'm never going to see him again."
"You're delusional."

When Halloween arrived Daniel and Autumn still hadn't said a word to each other, but that was all going to change.
"You're coming with me to Lucy Harris' Halloween party." Jude demanded as she sat next to Autumn on the sofa in Autumn's living room.
"What!?"
"You heard me."
"But why?" Autumn whined.
"Because," Jude started, "you've been stuck in in this massive house of yours for, what, 3 weeks? You need to leave and and have some fun, Aut."
