I squirmed as Mr. Simmons put a hand over my mouth, his other hand still holding my two arms above my head.
My voice was muffled, and he gave me a serious glare.
"Shh." He glanced at the door.
Suddenly, the doorknob shook, and there was some loud banging.
Simmons pulled me close, and quickly made his way around his desk, shoving me underneath.
"If you make a single noise, I'll make sure you're punished."
The tone of his voice was low, and intimidating, somehow.
A couple of footsteps, and I heard the door unlock.
"Hey, uh... Mr. Simmons. Did Poison leave yet?" Ace glanced around the room, looking for something.
"Hm, yes, I believe you just missed him. A shame, really."
"Ugh, well... Can I have my test back? My mom wants to see what I got."
Unexpectedly, I got the urge to sneeze, whilst underneath that desk.
Probably because it was so dusty.
"A-ah...CHOO!"
The sneeze was loud and sudden, and Ace turned to the direction the noise came from.
"What was that?"
"Er, nothing. You said you wanted you wanted your test, didn't you?"
"Hold on." Ace put a hand up to Mr. Simmons, and walked around his desk.
"What are you doing, Ace? You aren't supposed to be behind here..." The irritation in his voice was rising.
Ace peered underneath the desk, and sure enough, we made eye contact.
Blue to Red.
"A girl?"
"Listen, Ace..."
"No... no! What the fuck is wrong with you?! Hiding girls in your classroom, you're a creep!"
My eyes widened. I've never heard him swear like that.
A pair of arms lifted me up, and I was rushed out of the room, Mr. Simmons leaving us with a look of pure hatred. Then he said something I couldn't exactly make out.
"You're dead, Ivy."
I didn't know why, but I feared for my life that day.
A/N:
I sincerely apologize for the lateness of this chapter. On top of that, it's awfully short. However, I had left Wattpad for some time, and I was unaware this story was in such high demand. I will be back on Wattpad and I will try to update more frequently.
