"she almost had her! I saw!"

"did you see who the titan was?"

"no.. she was sort of standing right in front of them so I barely saw.. plus I was still half awake!

-but she decapitated the titan, then nearly killed the real person on the spot until they just vanished.."

"I see. You're dismissed Eren, thank you"

A headache slowly punched the inside of my head harder as I woke up; my eyes instantly blinded by the brightness of the window next to where I laid. I knew this room all too well, it was the infirmary.

So I didn't die? That would make the last words I said before fainting a little embarrassing..

"You're awake, that's good to see." Commander Erwin Smith said, causing my eyes to snap into his direction. I tried sitting up on the bed, but there was a tightness around my abdomen that hurt.

"Try avoid rapid movements, or your stitches will come loose." He said, putting a hand on my shoulder, "So it's come to my attention that you're an eye witness to the person who was the titan shifter."

I nodded, "that's right.."

"Another soldier, Armin has come up with a suspicion on who they were. Levi also told me what you said to him. Blonde, Military police. It adds up to who Armin was suspecting, which means we might just find the girl."

"That's good news, I'm glad I was able to be some help.." I said, then suddenly a question arose in the punching bag of a brain I had, "Am I still allowed to train?"

Erwin chuckled, "I was waiting for you to ask that. Unfortunately you're dismissed from training until you're wound has healed. Unlike last time you won't be held hostage in here, there will be a lot more freedom."

Freedom, huh.

"Okay, I understand"

"Good talk Marina, you're free to leave on your own accord. As for me, I'm running late to a meeting" He said, turning around and heading out the door with his usual walk of superiority and good posture.

If I can leave whenever I want to, then I'm definitely getting out of here as soon as possible. With my stitches, I had to be extra careful on getting up.

As I was getting out of the bed with as much caution as possible, previous memories from the mission started flooding my brain. Petra was dead, Gunther was dead, Eld was dead, Oluo was dead, everyone was just dead! In the most gruesome way possible too. Who would have thought that some small blonde woman would be behind a mass murder, and even though she kept an intimidating stare, she was an MP!

Why would she want to just massacre us? And if Eren was alive, that means she was just holding him in her mouth.. Could she have been looking for him the whole mission? Is it a coincidence that he's also a titan shifter? I don't think so.

I walked out of the door, staring at the ground as a frown hung low on my face. This was too much to think about, she's just a murderer, simple.

"Oi careful! You almost just made me drop this." The voice caused a halt in my steps, and I looked up to see Levi. His eye bags were darker than most days, and his complexion seemed to be almost a tone lighter. It was clear the death of his squad had effected him too.
