"Are you guys ready for this" phil asked to the group. It was the day that the rip in the releam was going to be opened. Everyone had high nerves and they all had that small voice in the back of there head telling them there was no point to this as dream was dead but everyone was ignoring it , they didn't want to believe it. 

Phil, bad and puffy this time opened the drip without any difficulties to everyones surprise.

"that was easy, XD must have been expecting us to return." sapnap laughed as he helped puffy through the rip.

The sweetly sicking smell of smoke and blood immediately hit them.

"Home sweet home" foolish said in a hushed voice. It was a shock that just by them staying somewhere with clean no polluted air that when they came returned the smoke that had gone unnoticed before was over bearing. 

"We're near l'manhole" wilbur said pointing to the giant tower that eret built years ago.

"stay low, stay quiet and stay together" tommy said. Tommy had matured a lot over the 6 months trying to keep his promise to dream, to protect everyone.

"Ok we'll head south and when it gets dark we'll look for a cave" sapnap instructed showing the group a compass that had been linked to one dream had. They all nodded and started to walked south.

"what the-" ranboos voice broke the quiet that had fallen among the group  when they made it through the small space of trees. Nahawaan bodies were everywhere each either sliced up or eaten.

(nahawaan translates to infected, i had it wrong in book 1, don't trust google translate T^T)

"Back up quick" tubbo whispered yelled as an all to familiar grey nahawaan walked past.

"Go" bad said once it was out of sight. Each and everyone of them sprinted across the opened planes dodging debris and jumping over random stuff. 

"Hes still there. he hasn't moved" sapnap yelled glancing at the compass.

~DREAM POV~

"Somethings off. The air and atmosphere is to quiet and peaceful" dream said to himself and he shifted making himself comfortable in the cave that he had made his base for the time being.

"you right" nightmares voice said in his head. He looked around for the small bag that he'd been carrying for a while, there wasn't much in it. There was a compass, a wither skull charm,  a piece of tommys disc melohi (sadly broken), a mushroom charm, emerald and a l'manburg flag, something that reminds him of everyone on the server alive or not.

His eyes were attracted to the one thing he hoped wouldn't happen. the compass needle was moving, it usually pointed to were the last rip was made but it was pointing north.

"They're back, Those idiots." he yelled grabbing everything  he could as  he headed towards the entrance of the cave.

"they are still north of here but how far." he asked as he walked through the trees. Careful as to not re-open a wound from last nights fight.

~WITH THE GROUP~

"DUCK" Niki screamed as a winged beast came flying down. The group followed the order and the bloodied and beaten beast missed them by centimeters.

"We cant fight this thing, it has wings and phil cant use his since the damage on them hasn't been healed. we need to run" Fundy yelled running for some sort of cover in the seemingly empty field.

"SPLIT UP NOW, THERE'S ON IT CANT FOLLOW US BOTH, THE ONE WITH SAPNAP WILL FOLLOW THE COMPASS AND LEAVE TRAILS FOR THE REST" eret screamed trying to keep their hair out of their line of vision.

"THAT WOULD WORK." Foolish yelled running with niki, Fundy, techno, ranboo, tubbo and karl the opposite direction. 

"HEY YOU BIG UGLY FREAK, OVER HERE" Techno yelled throwing a rock at the winged menace. As accepted it fell for the taunt and left the others alone.

"CYA ON THE OTHER SIDE" Tommy yelled. He new they'd be fine they had ranboo and tubbo let alone a full on demi god and god.............kinda.

"Yeah cya boss man" tubbo said knowing tommy wouldn't hear him as his hopes weren't as high.

After dodging and hit and attacking whenever the nahawaan was finally dead. The group was more then relived that it was gone but they had ended up back near the main smp.  To make matters worse the sun was falling and thanks to experience they knew mobs would still spawn in and kill them. 

"Lets find some kind of cave and wood. maybe some food we aren't moving or traveling anywhere at night." Niki said taking charge.

(GIRL POWER. LETS GO!)

"I have food on me so we just need a cave and some wood" techno said helping foolish  patched up the wounds some people had gotten during the fight.

"well we are close to L'manhole again and if my memory reverse me right then there's a tunnel connected to potopia we can stay there for the night plus the camp fires should be usable still." Fundy and tubbo said.

"Then lead the way, ex mister president and Fundy" karl said with a tired smile.

~with the half~

"The co-ordinates are moving" sapnap said. showing wilbur the compass.

"George co-ords please." wilbur said.

"we are at 5873, -46135" George said with a bored look, like always. George as the only one in the whole group he didn't really want to come back for dream, mainly due to the fact he had over heard a chat between the kettle and foolish.

~Flash back~

"Hey foolish, can i talk to you for a minute" dream asked. foolish nodded and followed dream to a small empty room.

"everything alright" foolish questioned.

"It's George he keeps giving me looks and i know what they are for, its scaring me. I don't know what to do. I've tried talking to him about it but he won't listen" dream explained his green tears racing down his face.

"It'll be fine. if he does it again give him a good scare" foolish said hugging his younger brother.

~present~

"Ok. he must know we're here and coming to us, or its broken" phil said leaving a carved smile into a rock near to where they where. 

"well. we still have far to travel and not much day left lets find somewhere to rest for now." puffy said.

"i agree with puffy on this. the sun is already setting and we are the wide open mobs will start spawning and fast to"  skeppy said who was happily sat on bads shoulder.
