She lay on the settee, can of pop in hand, watching some shitty program on the telley. Anya was startled by the sudden ringing of the landline, causing her to get up and go answer it. Her ears were filled with the complaints of her boss, Miriam cross, who was whining about the fact that Anya hadn't bought her the new Blur album yet. "You need to go and get me the new blur album before Damon gets here, I want to listen to it before he comes over!" Miriam shouted down the phone angrily. "Alright, I'll go get it yous now" mumbled Anya, before cutting her off. "What a whiny little bitch." Anya slipped on her trainers, grabbed her phone, and stepped out of her flat. Once she got to her local HMV, she browsed around for a bit before going to find the new Blur cd. She walked up to the counter with an oasis cd, a Radiohead cd, and a Stone Roses record. She gave them to the cashier and mumbled "erm can I get the new Blur cd as well mate?" "You like Blur?" the cashier asked. "Oh no, it's for my boss, she's a massive fan of them." That was a lie. Well, it was kind of a lie. Not the bit about not liking them, oh no, she really didn't like blur. She thought Damon's singing was weird. And she thought he was a twat. But the bit about Miriam being a "massive fan of blur" was. Miriam constantly told everyone that she was the world's #1 blur fan, but in reality, she'd only ever listened to Parklife, and she can't even remember the words, so yeah. "That'll be 10 quid mate" grumbled the cashier. Miriam gave him a tenner before walking out of the shop with her stuff. When she finally got to Miriam's house, she opened the door and walked into the living room to see Miriam cuddling on the sofa with... Damon Albarn, Her boyfriend. Anya placed her stuff on the coffee table and asked if any of them wanted a drink. "Coffee please," said Damon. Miriam stayed silent, for once. Once she was finished making Damon's coffee, he came into the kitchen and said "I'll have tea actually, I've changed my mind" "Oh alright" she replied as he left smirking. "Cheeky little cunt" she mumbled.
