Chapter 12

It was 8PM the night that Teri moved into Sherri's house. They had just finished unpacking the last of Teri's things and putting everything where it goes.

They had a great time that day. When they got home they turned on some music, ate lunch, and started unpacking. Now, they were winding down in their bedroom.

"So how do you like your new home?" Sherri asked Teri, smiling.
"I love it." She replied. "And I love you."

Teri kissed her girlfriend on the lips and sat next to her on the bed.

"So tomorrow's that meeting at Bradley's house." Said Sherri.

"Oh ya, I forgot! What is that about anyway?" Asked Teri.

"He wants to talk about the next script. Apparently it's gonna be a really good episode."

"Oh, that's exciting." Teri said this, but there was clearly something else on her mind.

"Are you ok love?" Sherri asked her girlfriend.

"Yeah, I was just thinking, um, maybe we could use tomorrow as a time to, well, let everyone know about us."

"I think that's a great idea, Teri." Said Sherri. "I don't even know if they know about Kamar and I's divorce... I'll have to tell them that, too."

"I'll be with you the whole time, Sher. Don't worry." As Teri said this, she walked around to her side of the bed. "Now, I don't know about you, but I'm exhausted." She continued.

"Me too." Said Sherri. "I'm ready for bed."
"Good."

The two women got into their bed and cuddled up next to each other. Sherri's head was on Teri's chest and her arms were wrapped around her waist.

"I love this." Said Sherri.
"Me too. Goodnight my love, my love my love."

It was the next morning. Sherri had woken up before Teri and gone downstairs to make them coffee and breakfast. When Teri smelled the bacon coming from the kitchen, she woke up and headed that way.

"Bacon?!" She asked excitedly, coming down the stairs like a little girl on Christmas.

"Yup!" Said Sherri, laughing at her girlfriend. "I guess you like bacon...?"

"I love it!" She replied, kissing Sherri good morning.

"Well help yourself, hun."

Teri got a plate and took some scrambled eggs and bacon.

"Delicious! But...I could probably do better." Teri joked.

"Oh stop it, you could not!" Sherri laughed

"Is that a challenge??"

"Oh please, I'd win by a landslide!!"

"You would not!"

"Fine, let's test it."

"I take that challenge. I'll make dinner tonight and you make dinner tomorrow. Deal?"

"Deal." Said Sherri. "But you have noooo idea what you just got yourself into." She smiled and shook Teri's hand over the table.

They shook on it and laughed. Once breakfast was done, it was 10AM.

"We should probably start to get ready," said Sherri, "the meeting's at noon."

"Yeah, you're right. Do you mind if I take a shower?" Asked Teri.
