A snap of the finger and a task sent was all it took for Scaramouche to be off to Mondstadt. He didn't particularly enjoy Mondstadt, the people were loud to say the least and absolutely irritating to say most, he found it too small, too closed off. But if that's what was asked of him, he went. He shoved shoulders with a few interesting people and glared and scowled anytime he was touched at all, He realized the sudden shift in weather , the sky clouded and was no longer a comforting blue instead clouded in gray. He scoffed shaking his head knowing it would rain, although it didn't affect him, he didn't want to ruin his hat, he found shelter in the favonius library shoving past guards and removed his hat carefully. Running his hand across the leathered and tainted books that were sure to be centuries of years old. He blew on a couple to remove any dust and held the book gently, the scent smelled musky and ink filled. Reading through it was rather relaxing, no one happened to be in there and it was a rather interesting story about a Prinzessin named Fischl.
Suddenly something burst through the door of the library, Scaramouche paid no mind Intel he heard tears begin to fall, and then another person..? How could that be? He only heard one person. He wandered over and eyes widened quickly. A small girl crying and sobbing against a bookshelf, she wore a little dress and had two mini pigtails following her long hair. A bird perched on her arm and there was a vision in her hand. It seemed to calm her down Intel she took a glance at Scaramouche and seemed to tear up more holding a book in front of her face, it was the same one he read although it seemed more damaged than the one in the library, it must've been hers. A little girl such as her.. had a vision? That was shocking to her, he knelt down and carefully moved the book down "Hello.." He said lowly looking at her face to face. "H-Hi—" She said shakily. He sat in front of her carefully moving the hair in front of her eyes to the side. "I won't hurt you, don't worry... what's your name?"  He asked slightly and watched her stumble. "I-I... don't know.." She mumbled tearing up again. "... Well... what do you want me to call you?" "... Fischl.." She muttered. He seemed confused because that was surely not her name. He thought for a bit seeming to piece her situation with his. If he was Scaramouche, then she was Fischl, regardless of past. He stood up "Ah, the Prinzessin der verurteilung, is that who you are." His hand was outstretched to her, she looked surprised and tears fell and she nodded quickly. "Then what's wrong?" He asked quietly. She sobbed a bit getting up and quickly hugging onto Scaramouche, she held him tightly as if she thought he'd leave and she burst into sobs "N-No o-one bel-believes that's wh-who I am—" She murmured sobbing more. His body froze, he didn't know what to do.
He wrapped his arms around her gently sighing. He looked down at her seeing himself, the same boy once named Kunikuzushi. He shook his head quickly holding her carefully "You are Fischl, dont.. worry.." He murmured looking to the side. "N-No one w-wants me i-if I am h-her— not even d-daad—" She hiccuped slightly. That hit against him hard. His hands carefully ran through her hair as a slight frown appeared on his face. He knelt down and carefully held her face. "One day you will realize, they don't deserve your tears Fischl, they are just an obstacle of who you truly are." He said gently carefully wiping her face. Fischl sobbed more hugging onto him. He saw this as business opportunities.. she could be an agent, she had a vision, she was powerful. But maybe there was another reason for what he was about to do. "Let me take you under my wing Fischl.. let me introduce you to a better family... one where you'd be accepted, and be seen for someone you truly are." He said which seemed to surprise her. So many emotions rushed through her and she could feel her heart beat like a drum quickening by the second. She calmed down hugging onto Scaramouche tighter. She nodded a bit and was lifted up by him. Scaramouche sighed gently as she faded off to sleep with all her tears. "So young and so gullible.." he sighed once again "And yet... there's something so special about you.." He turned his head over towards her.
