7:34 PM of March 1, 2021, Lewis seemed to be closing the doors of the veterinary clinic.It was quite a busy day for him,with the the town folks animal check ups.
As soon as he finished tidying the clinic he slouched down at his office and opened a pack of cigarettes, igniting it with a lighter.
A ball of fur went to towards him as it caressed itself at his thighs.
"Oh mister whiskers hello " he said in a lazy voice that made it seem alluring which the cat replied with a simple pur.
He then puffed his cigarette and slowly carried the cat in his arms while caressing it's soft fur.
The cat seems to have carried something as it jump out in his hands and dropped a pretty looking pebble and meowed it towards him,which made Lewis mood lighten drastically lighten .
"For me?" He asked with a hint of surprise,seeming to understand the question the cat nodded slowly.
"So you remembered my birthday mr whiskers, come here Im gonna give you your favorite cat nibbles"
Lewis said as he walked towards his drawer and opened a pack of nibbles,and feed the cat.
The cat seemed happy and licked Lewis hand with a residue of nibbles.
"Thank you mr whiskers" Lewis thanked the cat and smiled. After feeding the cat Lewis said goodbye, cause the cat was a stray one it doesn't have an owner.
Though he did try taking it in but the cat just refused it by scratching his hands with its claws. Staring at afar watching mr whiskers disappear Lewis sighed with his heart.
'Mr whiskers seemed to be getting fat,I should stop feeding him too much' he thought .
Later on finishing his cigar he continued striding towards the basement.
"Let's have fun shall we?" He said out loud as he wore his raincoat and hat,then proceeded on picking a sharp well preserved kitchen knife. _______________
That night unbearable silence elapsed through out the town, and a case of having two towns folk missing. Well it seems he might've had a killing spree,cause for the next few days ton of people started missing.
