Walking near the shore holding a flower in my arms. As the waves dance in rhythm. I too listen in the air.
"Fascinating view it is." I look at the guy in my back. I smiled. "Konnichiwa." The guy smiled and as he smiles the dimples have shown.
"Your a japanese?" I laugh. I'm not really a Japanese. I'm a pure filipina.
"Anatano namae wa nandesuka? (What's your name?)" I ask him. He laugh.
"My name is Art. Anata wa duo desuka? (What about you?)" Oh he can talk Japanese.
"Watashino namae wa Kit desu..." He again smiled at me.
"Hmm? Your name is cute. Like you... Will I see you again?" I nod. Of course he will.
"If you can find me here?" He chuckled.
"I'm sure you love sunset. And I love sunrise." He guess it right. I've been watching sunset evrytime I go to places where there is a shore, water, sea or even ocean. The sun makes me feel I'm not left alone.
Because the sun is with me. And the sun will vanish when it's my time to rest. I like sun very much.
"Well, the sun is a work of art." I said. That's the start of the life that I never knew I have. The desire to know more about him but life is really different sometimes and unfair as always.
Before I will go back to Philippines I go back there kung saan nangako siya na magkikita kami. And guess what? He didn't came back. The promise that he said, is the promise that I will never forget kasi hindi niya tinupad ang sinabi niya.
Maybe we will meet again. And I wish we would meet when the sun rise or set.
