Chapter-41 TEAMWORK!

When Anushka and Ashnoor came back from classes, Avneet had woken up. Both asked about her condition and she informed about getting little better. They had brought something from outside to eat and all three ate together. After chatting with Anushka and Ashnoor, Avneet started feeling a little better and they all made a plan to go to the library.

Being the first day of school, the volume of students returning and taking books in the library was very high. So high that they had to stand in line. Anushka being cunning quickly entered a line and there Avneet and Ashnoor just stared at her. They could not enter in the middle, so like good children, they went straight to the line and stood. The line with Ashnoor and Avneet was moving ahead quickly and Ashnoor was at the fore, so she took her favorite book and went to reserve a seat all of them.

Avneet and Anushka were standing on two different lines parallel to each other and were teasing each other like a crazy person with different gestures. With all eyes on both of them, they stopped acting like that and stood silently in their respective lines. And then someone grabbed Avneet hand from behind. Avneet thought it was Siddharth so she turned back but when she turned back she was blown away. It was some other boy she knew, not Siddharth. Avneet has a little memory of him in her mind. She does not remember much but she has seen him somewhere. She quickly jerked her hand and out of fear went straight in front of Anushka and stood up.

"Kya huwa?" Anushka asked. Avneet stood in front of Anushka and was looking at the boy with her slanting eyes and she was aware that she too was constantly being watched by him. Anushka followed Avneet's eyes but the boy appeared to be carrying on with his business.

"Us ladke ne mera hath pakda!" Avneet said in a low voice audible to only Anushka.

"Kya?" Anushka shouted. But Avneet stopped her cause that was library where they were standing.

"Muh tod'dungi main uska! Creep kahika!" She said angrily.

"Shayad maine hi overreact kardiya, tu shant reh!" She said and then it was her turn to get the book. She showed her library card and also got permission to take the book of her choice.

On the other hand Siddharth came running and panting towards the library and started looking for them, especially Avneet. He had no interest in coming to the library. Neither he had to take any book nor he had to sit there and study. He had just come there to see her and when he saw her, he got very happy and ran to her.

Even though Avneet had deluded her mind that perhaps it could be some unintended incident. But still, somewhere in her heart, she was feeling scared. But that fear ended when she saw her love i.e. Siddharth coming towards her. Seeing the sparkle in her eyes, her friends started teasing her.

Anushka-[Humari pyaari Ashnoor ka real naam hai Ashnoor!
Aein hein, dekho toh kisike chehre ka noor!]

"Is'se bekar shayari maine aajtak nahi suni! Saun lage mainu Rab di!!" Avneet said while Ashnoor just laughed.

In this, Siddharth came to them and greeted.

"Chalo ab humara kaam yahi par samapt hota hai. Chalo Ashnoor!" Anushka said.

"Lekin mujhe to padhna hai!"

"Arey koi baat nai tumlog yahi ruko hum bahar jaate hai!" Siddharth said smiling.

"Haan mujhe Siddharth se math's ke notes lene hai!" Avneet reasoned. Anushka laughed and said,"Haan mujhe pata hai kounse note lene hai! Jao jao humara kya hai," She side hugged Ashnoor and continued, "Hum seh lenge thoda!"
