It's over. After six hours of being chased by crazy animatronics, a lady in a rabbit costume, and defeating a cyborg zombie wearing an old rabbit suit. Glamrock Freddy and Gregory can finally take it easy. After escaping from the underground caverns and then the Pizza Plex. Freddy and Gregory take a seat on a high hill and watch out towards the horizon. In that moment the morning sun started rise.
"Wow!" Freddy was completely stunned by the sight. As he has never seen the sun either rise or fall before. "It's so beautiful! Do you experience this everyday Superstar?" He asked Gregory, not taking his eyes off the ball of fire. The little boy smiled a bit, "Yeah, I do. And it never gets old." Despite Gregory's rough life on the streets fending for himself, scrouging for food, and finding somewhere warm to sleep. He would always look forward to seeing the sunrise.
After some time has passed. Gregory's smile shifted into a frown; he turns his head a little to glance at his friend. 'We escaped that glorified pizza restaurant. But that place was the only thing keeping him repaired and powered. With Freddy out of it, he can power down at any moment, or become damaged and they'll be no way of fixing him.' His chest begins to tighten at these sudden revelations. Clutching his shirt where his heart is, 'What was I thinking bringing him out here?! Of course, I wasn't thinking! I was only thinking about ending the horrors of the Pizza Plex and escaping with my life with Freddy by my side. Without thinking of the limitations, he has built into him.' Tears were beginning to form at the corners of his eyes.
After everything he had been through, he was going to lose the only friend he has ever made in recent times. "Gregory?" Said the concerned voice of Glamrock Freddy, which brought the young boy back to reality. Fully looking at the bear, he can see the animatronic is staring at him with an expression that matched his tone of voice just a second ago. Despite him being limited to only expressing through his eyes. "What's wrong? You're crying."
Wiping his eyes with his arm to get rid of the tears. Gregory looks away and says, "Nothing's wrong. I'm fine Freddy, really." Though his tone didn't have the conviction in it. Something Glamrock Freddy was able to notice.
"Gregory. While we have only been together for one night and I'm still new to human interactions. I can tell you're not fine. Please Superstar, tell me what's bothering you." The boy really wished for right now that those who made the bipedal bear didn't program him with such human emotions. As he heard the slight pleading in the Freddy's voice.
Knowing he can't avoid the topic forever as it's going to be brought up anyway. He takes in a breath to calm himself, and slowly lets it out. "Freddy, your battery is going to run out soon. We never fixed that problem." He reminded as he looked at the animatronic. It took a moment, but Glamrock Freddy remembered he's still on reserve power. "That's, right. I am, aren't I? That's going to be a bit of a problem."
"'A bit of a problem'?!'" Gregory snapped at the bear, "It's a huge problem Freddy! I have no way of recharging you once you power down. When that happens... I'll be alone again." He felt the tears coming back, but this time he couldn't stop freely streaming down his face.
Not wanting to see his superstar be sad. The animatronic reaches over with his hand and rubs gently rubs the top of the kid's head. "Don't cry Gregory. I'm sure we can figure something out. We've come this far, haven't we?"
"Unless you can suddenly have unlimited power. I don't see you making it by another ten feet." Gregory said, pretty much defeated. The robotic bear took his hand off of the boy as the action and his words didn't have the comforting effect as he hoped they would. Looking down to the grass, Freddy was truly stumped at what he can do. He really did wish he had unlimited battery power. So that both he and Gregory wouldn't have to ever worry about that.
'There has to be a way to fix this problem in the long-term. But what?' He kept thinking till something did come to mind. He looks over his shoulder, somewhat far he can see the Pizza Plex. His... forming home. It has all the necessary material they would need. Including the solution to fix his battery.
Deep down he doesn't want to go back after learning the dark secret that was happening inside of it. Especially since the dark secret got his friends both corrupted and then killed. But it's his only option. "Gregory." He said to get the boy's attention. "You're not going to like it, but we have to go back to the Pizza Plex."
