Adryan popped the blueberries into his mouth and slowly chewed it,savoring the sweet taste.
"You really enjoy sweet things huh?" Ellys smile widely seeing him enjoyed the fruit she planted with her own hand. She really love gardening,her garden wasn't too big but it's enough for her alone.
Moreover she lived in the forest,so it wasn't hard to find the fruits, it just for making it easier she planted near her house so she didn't have to go out too far to find the food.
He answer her with a sweet smile before continuing to pops more blueberries in his mouth.
Ellys chuckled softly. She lean her head on his shoulder and rest her gaze on the waterfall in front of them. The sound from the waterfall made them feel relaxed.
They were sitting side by side with their back on the big rock. They let their leg touch the cool water.
They have been spending much time together. Whenever he got free time, Adryan would fly to her place immediately.
"Say Lyss,why did you and your late aunt Stella live in here? Why don't just stayed in Unique? It's like you're hiding from something. " He finished the last fruit, licked his lips and stared down at her.
"Hiding? Yeah, that sounds right. I also think we're hiding from something even though she didn't tell me we were. I just didn't know what is it we were hiding from .She told me that we can't live among the residents here because it was dangerous for our safety. We are human remember?A weak creatures. " She shakes the water with her foot and draw random pattern in it.
He tipped her head up and let his blue eye met hers.
"Well, I don't think a weak creatures could survive for almost two years alone in this forest. You're wonderful, you managed to impress me. And I think you'll impress more people if they know about you. "
"Thanks, that's feel better ." She touched his hand with her both hand. She pulled a small smile on her face.
"Come with me Ellys Eden . I'll protect you." His blue eye sparkling with hope.His expression far from joke . His free hand touched her cheek. Showing her that he really care about her.
She was stunned. Her mouth opened a bit.
Her teeth pulled in her lower lip and she let her eye dropped from him. She let a soft sighed .
"Ryan, it's hard to decide,i came here with aunt Stella when I'm around twelve years old. It has been 8 years until now. The memories I made with aunt her, I don't think I'm ready to let it go.I really love being here. I don't think I can leave this place.Besides we just met and didn't know much about each other , you understand right?I'm sorry ."
Gently she take his hand and put it on his lap. Then she slipped from her place and let her body slides under the cool water.
Only letting her head popped from water she looked at him.
"Well I guess you got points there. I shouldn't ask you in the first place, I'm a complete stranger after all.Of course you couldn't trust me. " He tried to give her his best smile but failed. Also his voice come out sternly than he planned. He didn't know why but he just hate the fact on her last word.He feel rejected by her. He stand up and turn away from her.
It wasn't like he want to run but he can't let her see the pissed look on his face.
"Wait, I didn't meant .." She reached for the rock and tried to climb up when she saw his movement. She lost her balanced because her wet hand and the rock surface was slippery.
"Aaah.. " She could feel her body falling backwards and in a blink she was sinking into the water.
Her body froze in the water. Everything was happening too fast.She couldn't think straight.She was drowning.
