Chapter 8: My Darling

Natsu and Gray walked into their science room, all their peers stopped what they were doing and just stared.

Natsu and Gray were smiling, walking side by side, and TALKING.

"Gray!" Someone behind them sung.

Grays face froze and he slowly turned around.

"Oh Gray my love how are yo-" A girl with long wavy blue hair bounced until she saw Natsu.

"Oh... I didn't realize you and Pinkie started hanging out thats....nice of you I guess." She awkwardly grinned.

"Yeah...Hey Juvia..." Gray half smiled back.

Natsu just stared at them. They were acting strange, like REALLY strange.
Why did this Juvia chick call him love? And why is Gray acting so weird?

"So shall we sit my darling?" Juvia instructed Gray to a seat.

'My darling!?'

Gray sat down beside the girl with the blue hair. And looked at Natsu who was internally freaking out.
It was a look of sorrow, and guilt.

Just then Juvia leaned over and stroked Grays hair, giving him a sweet long kiss in the process.

"Not here.." Gray shoved her off him and opened his textbook.

Natsu looked at the ground and made his way into the empty seat at the back.

So people don't know yet.

He's in the closet.

But wait. Didn't Gray act surprised when Natsu found out he was gay?

Natsu then choked.

Was all this just a prank? An ugly trick to humiliate him?

Natsu clenched his fists and prayed to God this wasn't just a bullies mean way of having fun. Natsu loved Gray, he'd openly admit it, he'd tell the entire school that he had fallen in love with Gray if that meant they could stay together.

A classmate in front of Natsu passed a note onto his desk.

It said 'From Gray.'

Natsu opened it and read what was inside.

'Please don't be mad at me. I haven't told anyone that I'm gay yet and I still have a reputation to keep so I have to have a girlfriend.'

He flipped the note over and wrote on the back.

'Oh yeah, than why did you act so surprised when I didn't know you were gay!?! :( '

Natsu watched the teacher turn around and then threw the note, hitting Grays head.

Gray winced and shot a glare at Natsu.

He wrote down a sentence and threw it right back at him smirking.

Natsu unraveled the note and blushed.

'Because I know another gay when I see one. I figured you would too.'

Juvia then saw Natsu and Gray staring at each other and poked Grays cheek.

'Attention WHHOOORE.' Natsu mentally screamed in head.

Juvia kept poking Gray until he turned to her annoyed.

"WHAAT?" He snapped.

Juvia gasped and the class stopped and looked at them.

"Oh crap.." Natsu whispered.

"All class you've been gawking at Strawberry over there and not paying any attention to me!" Juvia whined making a scene.

"I have not been gawking! And he has a name you know it's Natsu!" Gray defended him.

Natsu blushed, never has anyone defended him before, yet alone someone who's popular knew his name.

Then again it was Gray, he was different, they just had they're own conversation just a few days ago, but it already felt as if Natsu had liked him long before that.

"Nat-su... Seriously since when did YOU CARE!?!" Juvia yelled, stomping down a foot.

Gray glared.

"SINCE I FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM THATS WHEN."

Gray slapped his hand over his mouth and stepped back, glowing red after realizing what he just said.

Juvia was silent. Pools of tears formed in her dark blue eyes.

"B-but you were in l-love with me... You can't be in love with him... T-that would mean.." She stuttered.

"Yeah! I'm gay got a problem with it!?He said putting his hands on his hips.

Natsu chuckled. Swagneel Mc Sassypants, and now Fullbuster Forealshit.

They were meant to be. Natsu knew that now.
