Nothing Special (Stereo Kicks/Reece Bibby/New Hope Club)

Consequences.

I got home safely and I made sure I texted everyone to let them know I was home ok. Being with out Lauren and the boys was so weird, in fact being without everyone was so weird. I felt empty, and I didn't like the feeling of not having my extended family with me.

It's been a week and a half since the X Factor tour finished. I'd called the boys and Lauren everyday since and made sure I stayed in regular contact with all of the other contestants. Today was the last day I would properly be having at home before me and the boys would be rehearsing for their upcoming tour. It was lovely and sunny and I thought it was a great opportunity to go a get my brother from school. I know Josh is 12 and he would probably get embarrassed but he's still my little brother and it was too much of a nice day to stay inside.

I got ready and left the house, making sure to say goodbye to my mum before walking the 15 minute walk to my brothers school. Once I had arrived, I quickly went on to twitter before I heard people whispering my name. I thought it was just my brother being stupid so I looked up but realised a lot of people were staring at me. I thought I had something on my face until a girl of about 14 came up to me. "Hi I'm Lily, are you Millie Jones?" She asked politely. "That's me." I smiled. "Wow, it's really you." She said looking gob smacked. "Just one quick question, how do you know me?" I asked curiously. "Everyone in this school knows you, we all know that you and Lauren used to come to this school and then we saw you on X Factor with Stereo Kicks and most of us went to the X Factor tour to see you and Lauren, you were both amazing by the way." She said smiling. I was quite shocked to know that people knew who I was, I wasn't expecting to walk into my old school after the X Factor tour and expecting everyone just to instantly know who I was. "Ahh, that's so sweet. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the show." I smiled. "Do you mind if I take a picture with you?" She asked sweetly. "Of course not." I smiled in return as she took a few pictures. "Thank you." She smiled. "Your welcome." I said as she walked away, after Lily asked for a picture loads of people came up to me and started talking and asking for photos. After a while I noticed Josh come out of the gates so I said goodbye to everyone and went to go surprise my brother. "Josh, I came to pick you up from school." I laughed as he hugged me. "Hi, I didn't know you were coming, I wondered what all those people were crowding over there for." He smiled. "Loads of people knew who I was, I didn't expect everyone to know my name, so I started talking to them and took pictures with them." I smiled.

Me and Josh started walking home, before I heard someone call my name again. I turned round and saw the two people I didn't want to see. I saw the two people who made my life hell all through high school. Hailey and Poppy were back and they weren't giving up trying to make me unhappy again. "Who are those girls calling your name?" Josh asked me. "Erm...they are er...I don't know." I lied, walking faster. "Maybe they're fans, go say hi." Josh urged. "No Josh just keep on walking." I said getting scared. "You know who they are don't you?" He questioned. "It's a long story." I said quickly. "I've got time." Josh said. "Well I haven't." I said getting slightly annoyed.

"We've got time Millie, what's this long story then?" Poppy said smugly with Hailey behind me too, Poppy digging her nails into my shoulder. "Erm, it's nothing." I said quickly. "Can we talk to you for a moment?" Hailey said, with a bitter tone to her voice. "No sorry, I've got to take my brother home." I mumbled, starting to shake and just wanting to get home. "Well you've got no choice in the matter." Hailey said, as they both pulled me back. "Go home Josh, I'll be there soon." I said, trying to put a brave face on but it wasn't working. "No, I'm not leaving you." He said. "Please Josh, just go home. I'm fine." I smiled slightly. Josh just nodded and carried on walking home, occasionally turning back and eventually running home.

"You thought we were finished with you, didn't you?" Poppy smirked evilly as they both pinned me up against the wall, something I was sad to say I was all too familiar with. I just closed my eyes and wished this would all be over until I plucked up enough courage to say something. "What do you want now? You've done everything you possibly could to try and break me but no matter how many times you try, I'll get back up." I said bravely. "We don't want anything to do with you this time...we want your boyfriend and his friend Charlie." They both smirked. "No, don't bring them into this. They've done nothing wrong, they've got there whole career ahead of them, don't ruin they're lives." I said, almost pleading. "We want you to suffer, we've come up with a plan, your boyfriend won't want to be with you when he sees us two, he can fancy one of us, and Charlie will have the other one. Why would Reece go with someone as ugly as you when he could have one of us. When you next see Reece tell him it's over, other wide you'll face the consequences and tell anybody about this and you're dead." They threatened. Both of them let go of me, as they both dug their nails into my hands. "Understood?" I didn't say a word. "Understood?!" They shouted into my face as Poppy grabbed my hair, pulling it. "Yes." I said quickly as I nodded frantically. "Good." They both laughed as they walked off around the corner.

I ran all the way home, not saying a word to Josh or my mum, running straight up to my room. I knew that if I didn't say anything to Reece soon then I really would face the consequences.
