"You are not my King Adarius; you never will be! You only hide in the shadows." Eliea denied as she pulled at her restraints. Her eyes never gave away that one of the young women in the room was her daughter. "My children are hidden away; you will never find my sons! Leave this family and their daughters alone." The female pleaded, trying to make Adarius and his men believe the three young girls were the Shadow couple's children.

"And my little brother? The hybrid outcast that he is?" Adarius questioned as he now walked around Stormy who simply stared at her mother and father, there was no fear for herself in her eyes. Just for those she cared for. While she held onto her sister and Sage in her arms, Stormy tried desperately to make the words Eliea was speaking seem like it was the truth.. It amazed Adarius as he watched the young red head, she hadn't made any movements other than to hold her sisters close to her. Most humans screamed and pleaded for their lives or tried to run from the situation they now found themselves in. Nonetheless, the young woman stood stock still, her eyes never leaving her parents, she showed him no fear. Not even when he had threatened her or the young women when just mere moments ago when they had met moments ago in the field.

"Your brother?" Eliea laughed as she glanced away for only a moment. She caught a glimpse of the young men in the window but didn't give away that they were even there. "He died the moment your mother gave him to my mate. The poor sniveling child didn't stand a chance . You're the traitor, to your people, the humans that served your allies, to the elders and to your own fam...." Sadly before Eliea could even finish the words that were leaving her mouth, her head had been severed from her body. Blood sprayed from where her head had just been connected to her body all over Lalie and her husband. Covering the right side of the older woman. As Lalie glanced up at the three young women, she knew there was no way out for any of them. As a sob left Lalie's lips the head came to a stop at Stormy and the two girls' feet. Skye's eyes were screwed closed, as Stormy held Sage face to her shoulder, the smaller female gave Adarius a deadly look. She hated him for this and would forever hate the male till his dying breath no matter what.

"What? I can't stand her voice?" He chuckled. "Or did you want the honors?" Adarius asked as his malicious laugh grew while he took the blade dripping with fresh blood from one of his guards and offered it to Stormy.

"You know you're a real son of a bitch, you know that right?!"Stormy bellowed as she nearly launched herself at the male.

The only thing that had kept her in place were the two sobbing girls that locked their arms around her. The fiery redhead's eyes narrowed as they held her tighter fearing she would be next to lose her head.

"I'll kill you for this!" Stormy growled from under her breath as she let her sister and best friend restrain her for now.

"Stormy! Keep your damn mouth shut girl!" Her father called out to her. His own fear had started to set in as he watched his oldest daughter challenge the new Vampire king, he had already lost one child to the king he wouldn't lose another.

The words that had left her father's lips had left her surprised at first, her parents had never cursed at them let alone told them to shut up. As Stormy's eyes drifted from her father to the intimidating male in front of her.

"Stormy huh?" Adarius stated quizzically. The male liked the way her name sounded as it rolled off his tongue. "I like this one, I think I will keep her for myself." He smirked, as he strode toward the three females. "Come to me now!'' Adarius ordered as he held out his hand to Stormy.

"No, leave my daughters alone!" Lalie begged as she tried to get to the three young women, she wouldn't let Eliea's death be in vain. Lalie had made it to her feet, she was nearly to the vampire king when his men pushed her to the ground. "Please I beg of you spare them. I'll do whatever you want, give you whatever you want." She pleaded as tears streamed down her cheeks, her eyes locked with the male before her. Panic filled her eyes the terror as she felt for the three young women caused her voice to tremble with each word she had spoken..
