Synopsis: Jeff is out late at night unable to sleep when he goes to the park to stargaze
The beanie-wearing male sighs as he sits up, grabbing his phone and reading the time. "Its already midnight? Ah man and i can't sleep! I can't stop thinking about mom..." He mutters to himself as he drags himself out of bed.
He sighs as he leaves his house which is next to Ninjas house and walks to the park, where it looks abandoned with a play area for little kids and a basketball court complete with bleachers. He climbed to the back of the bleachers and sits down, looking up at the view of the city.
He smiles as he watches the city light for a while then lays down to watch the stars. He smiles, not thinking about anything else but his mom.
"Hey there Jeff. What are you doing here?" A calm voice asks, startling Jeff from his thoughts. "Oh um hi Ninja. I couldn't sleep so I came here. I can't stop worrying about my mom" he explained as Ninja sits next to him. "Are you OK? Did something happen to her?" Ninja asks with slight concern in his voice. Jeff nods "she...she has cancer and doesn't....doesn't want to fight. I'm scared. She's been at home but...she isn't the same. I miss her" he says sadly. "I know you don't drive so how about tomorrow we go over together? How does that sound?" Ninja asks, and smiles seeing Jeff's eyes light up.
Jeff doesn't remember when or how but he ended up waking up at Ninjas house, and together they leave to visit Jeff's mom who ended up deciding to fight and lived through the cancer.
