Prologue

"Ive, the CEO wants to see you in his office."

A voice from a man stopped me from doing my work. My eyes automatically rolled before I turned around my chair to face him.

"Why? I'm working," I said in an irritating voice. When I realized that I was talking to a person with a higher position than me, I tried to wash the irritated look on my face.

I'm maybe a bitch but I know the word professionalism.

"You should ask him kung bakit ka pinapatawag, hindi ako ang dapat mong tanungin," he said seriously to me. I took a deep breath to control my emotions before standing up from my chair.

The loud sound of my Stelios dominates the hallway every time it lands on the ground. Umaagaw naman ito sa pansin ng mga nagtatrabaho pero wala akong pakialam. Ang iba ay bakas sa kanilang mga mukha na hindi nila alam kung anong gagawin nila nang makita nila ako.They didn't know if they will greet me or will just walk passed me.

Wala naman kaso sa 'kin kung hindi nila ako batiin. Mas gusto kong batiin nila ako kapag ako na ang may pinakamataas na posisyon dito.

My father and Kristen's faces welcomed me when I went inside the CEO's office. I walked straight to the chair in front of my dad's table without saying a word. I was just sitting and looking at my "sister" in front of me.

I couldn't help but grimace just looking at her.

Nakakairita talaga ang pagmumukha ng babaeng ito kahit wala pa itong ginagawa. Kala mo naman kung sinong mabait. Hindi talaga bagay sa kanya ang mala anghel niyang mukha.

I deserve that angelic face because I'm the kindest among my siblings. Pero bata pa naman si Evyn so I will give him the benefit of doubt. Sana lang talaga ay lumaki itong hindi magmana sa kahit sino sa 'ming magkakapatid.

"You're already here," my stepmother happily said. I just nodded my head and went to her to kiss her cheeks.

My stepmother is stunning even though she's just wearing a simple beige dress. She still looks elegant. I want to be like her when I'm already her age because she looks much younger than her actual age!

"Hindi na ako magtatanong kung bakit ako pinatawag dito," saad ko habang bumabalik sa aking upuan. "But it's still working hours." I added.

I'm used to my stepmother going to the company to bring me with her to do shopping. I'm not complaining, tho. Because aside from the fact that I can buy anything I want without spending money, she's also fun to be with.

I'm lucky that she's my stepmother. Noong una ay ayaw ko talaga sa kanya dahil akala ko ay inaagaw nila sa 'kin si daddy at pera lang talaga ang habol niya pero kalaunan ay nagustuhan ko rin naman siya because she's so nice! I don't know why Kristen didn't inherent it from her.

Puro masasama tuloy ang ugali namin sa bahay at siya lang ang ng-iisang anghel.

Ewan ko nga kung bakit niya nagustuhan si daddy. My father has the money and the looks that every girl wants but her attitude is not ideal.

Wala nga namang perfect.

I will stop talking about my father's attitude because we have the same personality so if I say something about his attitude, then I'm also badmouthing myself.

The only difference between us is I know that I don't have a pleasant personality pero siya, hindi siya aware.

"I already informed your boss." My mom winked at me and walked towards my father. "Payag ka naman, honey bunch sugar bunch, 'di ba?" paglalambing niya sa tatay ko.

I coughed with her callsign to my father.

"What a baduy callsign," isinatinig ko. Napatingin naman sa 'kin si mommy na tila ba nagulat na baduyan ako sa tawag niya kay daddy.
