A child is blooming
Blooming with the love of thorns
Thorns that she's unbeknownst of
Of what potential they truly holdThe love she feels is a passed down veil
A veil with intricate patterns and greater finesse
But finesse merely camouflages what's beneath
And underneath what remains, someday revealsAnd if by chance, she finds an escape
Escape to a world filled with dignity and grace
She'll be crowned as an outcast
An outcast with a soul crowded with scars
Scars that she never was taught to embrace
Scars that would have glorified her being unchainedThen decades to her age and she'll realise
Realise that she was brought up in a staged Paradise
Whose skin was gold, but heart in shades
Shades that someway made all the change--------------------------------------
Because there's always a place you can pour your heart into.
