Words i write, words i see
Words i share and those i keep
Those from Wise,changing perspectives
Of some long lost friend, that still burns deep
Words of ages that makes me tipsy
Words in pages i secretly fancy
Words laced with affection that brings a smile
Those that make me wonder for miles
Words with melody that makes me sing
Penned by someone who loves to feel
Words are poison and equal parts of elixir
Catalyst for something great or something destructive
When sprinkled with kindness, it soothes the soul
Phrased a bit faulty, it ruins alone
But then again for every word uttered
For every palace it built and shattered
Was it ever the word behind the deal?
Or was it just us humans in conceal?
