"Well, how did you respond to his offer?!" Vivienne's two best friends, (Isabella and Diane) were on the edge of their seats as Viv relayed to them the interaction at the coffee shop. "I um- I said yes. We're meeting up at some pizza place tomorrow."
The two friends squeal and pat her on the back.
"What are you going to wear? Do you want me to do your makeup?" Diane asks.
"Relax, babe. It's just two classmates catching up over some food. No big deal.." Vivienne clarified. "Bitch. Stop playing. This is a date!" Isabella insists. "Totally. Girl, he wants to bone you." Diane adds. "GUYS, ENOUGH. it's not a date, stop pushing it." Vivienne yells.
"Okay. Fine. It's not a date. But do you want it to be..." Vivienne pauses for a moment to think of an answer to Isabella's question. "I mean- of course I'd want it to be. Have you guys seen him? He's so handsome. Plus, he seems to have taken a liking to me. I don't know, I guess I just don't won't to give my hopes up." Viv had never been the confident type. When guys hit on her, she always assumed it was because of what she was wearing. She believed nobody could truly be fond of her. "Then don't give your hopes up. Like you said, it's just two old classmates hanging out. If something is meant to happen between you two, then it will. Okay?" Diane reaches out to grab Vivienne's hand as she says this. "Since when did you become so wise?" Viv asks. "Always have been. Thank you for finally noticing." The three friends giggle and turn on the television. Vivienne tried to distract herself from the meetup tomorrow. Wait was it a meet up? A get-together, a date? She'd soon find out.

She got up at 9:30 that morning. She had stayed the night at the girl's place, so she had to stop by her apartment to get ready. She took the taxi, and soon arrived. Vivienne jingled the key in the door. "Hey, Liam. I'm back." She says, looking around the apartment for him. Hmm, must be a some girls place. Liam was Vivienne's not-so-friendly roommate. He was very nice to her but other than that, he wasn't much of a people person. They dated for a month in high-school and never spoke of it again. Vivienne didn't think too much of his non-appearance, and started on a bath. She had a few hours to get ready for the get-together with Timothée. She didn't care if it was a date or not, she still wanted to feel cute. Vivienne washed her hair, shaved and exfoliated. Once she was dry, she did some light makeup and curled her hair. For a the finishing touch, she added some dark red lipstick. Her outfit consisted of high waisted dark-washed jeans, and a mauve baby-tee. Once she threw on her white high-top Converse, and her letter V necklace, Vivienne was ready to go.

The pizza place was around 15 minutes away. On her way there, nervousness started to settle in her stomach. She just wanted for this to go well. She had taken a liking to Timothée. She didn't want to fuck it up.

Within a blink of an eye, she made it there. Vivienne walked in, and saw Tim sitting at a booth waiting. She waved at him as she walked up, he started a big cheesy grin.
"Hey, Vivienne!"
"Hello, Timothée. Was I keeping you waiting? I apologize."
"Nah-no you're all good. You got here just in time. Come, here sit." He taps at the seat in-front of him. She walked over and popped a squat. "You look pretty." Well damn, this might actually be a date.
"Aw, thank you. You look handsome as always." Timothée smiles at me and begins to play with his hands.
"Do you wanna- should we order?"
"Oh yeah. Yes let's order some pizza! I'm starving." Timothée laughs and they wait to place their order.

They get their pizza, and begin to catch up. The two reminisced on their Highschool days. Timothée began to make the conversation have more levity. "You know, I made a mistake about you." He begins, still chewing his pizza. "How so?"
"In school- I thought you were kind of self centered. I just figured since you were the lead in everything, you had no since of humbleness to you. That's why I didn't talk to you."
"Well damn Timothée." Vivienne started to laugh. "I know. I was so rough on you. I'm sorry. Meanwhile you were just this pretty, smart, really talented girl that everyone liked for a reason." She felt her cheeks grow crimson.
"Don't apologize. I judged you wrongfully as well. I thought you were this class clown who never tried at anything, but somehow ended up in all the shows. I resented you for that. Even though-"
"Even though..."
"I don't wanna say it..."
"Oh cmon..."
"Even though you made me feel a certain way. I had feelings for you that I never really explored." Vivienne completes her thought.
"Oh.." Timothée looks down.
"Yeah.. oh."
"Well... how about you explore those feelings now?" Vivienne felt the crimson growing again.
"I'd love that. Wanna go to my apartment?"
"Yes. Let's go now." Timothée agrees.

After paying, they take the subway and arrive back at her apartment. They held hands and Vivienne opened the door. They were both shocked at the site they were seeing. Liam on the couch staring right at them.

"Vivienne who's this?" Timothée questions.
"Yeah, I could ask the same thing..." says Liam.
