Sunlight passes through their wooden Spanish windows accompanied by a rooster's call of the morning.  On the other end of this light ray, lays a woman with silk-like skin glistening from the light. A perfect scene of her sleeping and drooling from whatever dream she is having.  Her hair ruffled from her nightly tosses and turns, sleeping comfortably with her pyjama project from school.  She continues to snore from her elaborate sleeping position with no care in the world.

"Davina! Wake up!"  She hears from her dream.  Suddenly, she is being called out from her peace.  Her head swiftly turns to the direction of the voice.  All she could see is an empty filled covered in mist.  "Davina! Come on!" A faint laughter coming after the voice.  She follows it into the field, unknowing of what might happen.  Gladly she went on the edge... then came.

Into reality. Hitting her shoulder on the red tinted Ipil floor. "Davina! Wake up! What are you doing? It's already 9!  You have school!"  Davina jerked herself up while frantically looking for her phone.  "No! No Oh no no no... I literally have ten alarms so I can make sure I will wake up on time! I have a thesis defence presentation today!"  She exclaimed.  "Where is my damn phone?!" as she flips her bed inside out.  "Ningning! Help me find it, please!" Her sister dragged a chair from a nearby desk , sat on it and replied, "I could but I don't want to."  "Ningning ka nga talaga," Davina responded as she continues to shuffle through her whole room. "You and your references from those sitcoms.  That is all I hear from you.  What a weirdo."  Davina then shuffles towards her sister, "Tabe!" and Ningning scoots away with her chair.

"Oh well, Ate Davina.  Just say that you don't have any taste.  F.R.I.E.N.D.S. is so iconic and you are just hating."

"I like my sitcoms and reality based shows but I don't become them.  That's the difference between you and I.  I admire them.  I don't make it part of who I am."

Ningning made a silent gasp. It seems that Davina might have hit a nerve. Ningning replied, "How would you know?  You don't even have actual friends.  So stop being so stuck up and thinking you know it all."

"At least I don't have to depend on anyone to know who I am," as Davina rolls her eyes.

Ningning stands up and out her sister's bedroom.  "At least I'm not blind and gullible.  Your phone is literally in front of you and it is barely 6 AM.  Mom wanted me to wake you up.  There's some chores needed to be done before school."  Before Davina could even respond, Ningning yells, "PENDEJA!" and slams the door behind her as she walks out.

Good morning to you too.  Davina thought as she hears her sister's footsteps fade out.  After all that ruckus, she heaves a sigh and walks over to the chair her sister sat on.  She grabs the beige-coloured cotton bath towel on it, then goes downstairs.

"Oh there she is!  The reyna of the house! Finally awake from her slumber." hollered her mom.  Davina takes a deep sigh from hearing her mom's voice.  She did not want to start anything this early in the morning.  She took her last step on to the living room floor.  Looking around, the breeze of the crisp morning filled the room.  They have Omnia porcelain stoneware floors right to the millimetre of edges, encompassing the whole ground living area.  Adjacent to the stairs is a Timber Olio Green right sectional sofa with copper and sand-toned plush pillows, accentuated by a dusty blush crinkled velvet blanket on the arm of the sofa.  Across the sofa is a two-toned wooden mid-century lowline media console with speakers thin enough to be mistaken as random standing objects.  These speakers are wireless connected to an 80-inch smart TV mounted on to the shades of earthen clay and fresh green ceramic tiled walls.  The house is not elaborately huge.  It is spacious enough to have decent amounts of guests and strategically compact to still feel like home.
