CHAPTER3 "Happiness"

It was 8:30 am and Lila left our house when we woke up we exchanged numbers, my mom gave her some cookies for her to bring and eat with her parents. It was Monday and it was shocking how Zayden talked to me first "Hey Maya, Good Morning I guess...." I responded "G-Good Morning" then he left to go to class "I'm guessing he's in a good mood" said someone behind me, when I looked back it was Lila "You scared me" I said "I'm sorry didn't mean to scare you" she said, I told her that it was fine and we both walked to class together.

It was already English time and Zayden seems to be energetic...I wonder what happened.

It was lunch time and Lila said she won't be able to eat with me cause she has something to do at the park at lunch time so I was gonna eat alone....or I thought I will when Zayden walked up to me and sat beside me "What the heck are you doing here, aren't you supposed to be with your other friends?" I said, "Look if you don't want me to be here I'll leave" he said so I shook my head as a sign that I don't want him to leave and we ate our lunch together.

Afternoon classes started once again and he is still happy and energetic as ever.....This is a good chance for Lila to try to be friends with him, I'll try telling her later to ask Zayden to meet her at the rooftop so she can ask him. Math just ended and we have 10 minutes to get ready for the next class so I told Lila to ask Zayden to meet her at the rooftop so they can talk she was hesitating on going to Zayden and ask him the question but she was able to do it and he said yes!.

Class ended and I went up the rooftop before Zayden and Lila can so I can ease drop their conversation......A few minutes have passed and the rooftop door open and it was Zayden then a few seconds later Lila came in "I'm shocked you came" Lila said, he said "Well I said yes didn't I so of course I came, now what do you want don't waste my time" "Well I was meaning to ask if you wanted to be my friend?" she said, "That's all your asking? Sure sure whatever now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna leave" he said so I went out of my hiding spot and said "EEKK Congrats! You earned another friend" so she said "You scared me but yeah! I can't believe he said yes!" and after we took off our excitement we walked back home together.

I took a short shower and went into my room and as usual I chatted Zayden and usually he'd respond to me after a few minutes but I had been waiting for 10 minutes and he still hasn't responded! We didn't even have homework so I'm guessing he probably fell asleep when he came back home. I ate my dinner and went back to my room I checked my phone and still no response so I chatted Lila instead and she immediately responded after a few minutes of chatting she called me because she said she got lazy to type and we both slept with the call on.
