Before you read the story, I want to say that writing about this was an idea of @JennaGreenJG. Her stories are awesome, and I'm really happy to have found someone who is into the same things and topics as me. More importantly, she is a lovely friend :)
English is not my first language, so I apologize if there are some mistakes.
I hope you like the story!

LCDP - The day I really met you
It was a chilly evening in Madrid. After a long day of work, Raquel was headed home. She was exhausted of dealing with the Professor, her police colleagues, and the whole heist situation.
Despite this, she had invited Sergio, or actually Salvador, how she thought he was called, to come over to her house, to have dinner, and probably sleep as well, aiming to spend some time together.
She loved having him by her side, enjoying his company. His support meant the world to her, and she believed that they could not have met at a better time, since during those moments she was quite vulnerable, even though it did not always seem like so, and his presence, and the treatment he gave her, had become a reason for her to smile again.
She was very focused on the positive aspects of the man she had met shortly ago, ignoring the fact that he was hiding a huge secret from her: he was the Professor, the person who would talk to her using a voice distorter, asking her so many odd questions, and the same one who had organized all the heist.
Actually, she was not as far from finding out the truth, having to face a reality that would hit her hard, but probably in the end, would turn out positively.
On another hand, there was Sergio. He had arrived to his apparent girlfriend's house a few minutes ago, a while earlier than her. That was not an issue. He was received by Mariví, her mother, who besides greeting him, took advantage of the fact that her daughter was not present yet, asking the man, sort of mischievously, pretty direct questions about their intimacy, the ones he answered awkwardly but honestly.
The elder woman seemed really happy to know that her hardworking daughter was finally being able to move on from all the negative events that had been present in her life quite recently, mainly what was related to her abusive ex-husband, welcoming another stage.
Related to some phone calls and comments, at first, Sergio thought that Mariví meant a threat to his plans. Due to this, he even considered the idea of getting rid of her, in order to avoid her interfering with his ambitious objectives. However, when he found out about her Alzheimer and dementia, he concluded that she would not mean any harm to his goals.
Regarding Raquel, the good-looking middle-aged woman he had approached because of her role in the police, in addition to the fact that he knew about her complicated recent past, that being an advantage for him, as cruel as it sounds, although at first, she was just a relevant move in his meticulously organized project, he admitted to himself that he was developing strong feelings for her.
Seeing her face her struggles, in such a strong, firm way, made his admiration for her increase. He had had the privilege to know about her more than what the majority of the people did. That day in which Alberto, Raquel's ex-husband drove him back to the city, in addition to the fact that making him upset, inciting him to start a fight, were part of that faze of the plan, the rage he felt when talking to the man he knew that had dared to harm her physically and emotionally, was real.
He wondered how could someone be so messed up to have the need to control someone else, his former wife in this case, to feel dominant, strong, whatever. Having the chance to hit him was recomforting, and even though he knew that he was also indirectly harming Raquel, from then on more than ever, he felt the necessity of protecting her, making her feel important and loved.
