"M-Mikey."
you stuttered as you look at his emotionless black void eyes staring back at you. Both of you were pointing guns at each other as tears started to form from the side of your eyes.

"Mikey, is this the reason why you broke up with me, cause you didn't want me to know you are Bonten's leader?" you asked slowly lowering the gun.

"L/n, don't lower your gun y'know I can kill you with a blink of an eye."
Mikey spoke as you gripped tightly on the gun, you let out a sigh as you placed the gun on the ground and looked at him.

"I became a detective to save you from this abyss that you're falling into... But I think I'm already late,"
you spoke walking towards him, Mikey was caught off guard as he stepped back a bit, still pointing the gun at you. "Manjiro," you called out as he faces you. You stopped in your tracks as you pointed his gun at your chest.

"Shoot. Pull the trigger."
you spoke smiling at him.

He hated it. He hated that in your last moments, you still managed to smile at him, the same smile you gave him when you gave him your sweet yes. The same smile you two shared when you two had your first date together. The same smile you flashed to him when you two shared your first kiss. And the same smile you gave him when he's feeling down. He hated that he loved that smile so much. He hated your sweet and pure smile.

He felt his lips quiver as you stroked his cheeks, he flinched and looked at you. "Hey, your lips are quivering. Calm down," you spoke stroking his cheeks gently.

He hated you. He hated you because you know him more than anyone else. He hated how you know how to calm him down, he hated how your sweet phrases can make him melt, he hated how you loved him so much. He hated it... You smiled as you hugged him. He didn't budge.

"Y'know. I always kept wearing that necklace you gave me," you spoke as you looked at him, you took off the necklace and smiled putting it in his pocket coat. "I'll be returning that now," you spoke and looked at him, smiling softly. You held his hand that was holding the gun as you pointed it back into your chest.

"Go on Manjiro, shoot me,"
you spoke as you looked at his emotionless eyes. He gritted his teeth as he threw his gun, but a loud bang was then heard as his eyes widened. You got shot.

You smiled, ignoring the pain as Mikey caught you in his arms. You landed on his chest as your head made its way to his neck. You smiled, inhaling his scent. "You still smell like strawberries," you mumbled, lowly chuckling. Tears started to fall from his eyes as he held you close.

"Hey Manjiro,"
you spoke as he looks at you, you smiled wiping his tears away. "I love you and will never stop loving you," you whispered, as you closed your eyes, melting into him.

He pulled you close as he carried you in a bridal style. Sanzu walked in as he looks at you then back at Mikey. "Boss?" he spoke as Mikey didn't look at him. "Let's give her a proper burial," he spoke as Sanzu nodded. "And who shot her?" Mikey added as Sanzu pointed to one of their men who was carrying a pistol that had a silencer in it. Mikey nodded as he walked past his men while carrying your lifeless body.

"Well, what do we do with this body?"
Ran asked as he looks at the male's lifeless body, it was the same guy who shot you 2 days ago.

"We either burn it, bury it, feed it to the alligators, or well just throw it on the ocean."
Sanzu suggested as Ran sighed. "Let's just go with feeding his body to the alligators," Ran spoke as Sanzu smiled getting a butcher knife. "You always carry a butcher knife on your car?" Rindou spoke as Sanzu rolled his eyes. "I gotta be prepared," he spoke as he starts to do his thing.

Mikey was at your grave as he sat beside it. "I miss you," he spoke softly. "And I'm sorry."
