"Hurry up honey or you're gonna be late!" My mom says.Today is the first day of school and I'm so ready to meet new people after I moved here to Atlanta. "I'm coming mom!",I say.

"Have fun at school Cassey and don't forget to be confident and talk to new people". I always had anxiety problems and I could never be able to make friends.That is also another reason why I don't have a boyfriend. "Okay mom bye",I say. As I walk down the hall I bump into someone.A guy.A cute guy.He is tall with a lighter skin tone than mine and had these bright blue eyes with this awesome soft (I think) hair."sorry",I mutter . "its alright",he smirks and leaves.I got this thing where I can't breathe anymore and my heart started to pound but I controlled it.I barely know his name.But it was a one time thing.*bell rings*.

"Goodmorning students,my name us miss Angela and I am your mentor.",she says. She is from new York and has brown eyes and a dark skin tone but really beautiful. "Now,we're gonna go around and tell me your names and introduce yourselves." And since I'm sitting in front of the whole class I can't see who are my classmates.And I have to go first....yikes! "Hello,my name is Cassey Jones and I'm 16 and I love to read and draw.I moved 7 times because I get bullied a lot.",did I just say all of that without having a heart attack?!? "My name is Ashton Lloyd and I am 17 and I love playing sports.",He-- apparently Ashton -- said.I can't believe the guy I bumped in to is also in my class.This is a really great day.The rest of my classmates introduced themselves.Today was actually more of a social day.All we did was talk about us and just discuss some few things.After school my mom said she can't pick me up so I had to walk.Someone calls me...."Cassey!!! That's your name right?",Ashton says."Uhm yeah?",I say."I don't know you but you seem kind and different so I was wondering if we can be friends?",he said."sure",I giggled. "What's so funny?",he said. "Its just...no one ever complimented me",I said and wished I just didn't open my mouth. "Well I'm glad I'm the first to say it.I tell you what,I walk you home if you want because I'm actually going same way.
