The pointed pillars and grand arches of the dark, ivory cathedral stood before me. The eeriness of the ancient building. I was like a grain of sand compared to the jagged beauty of the old house of god, but darkness that seemed to shrouded the holy place and its surroundings made it like a place of the devil. A ghost-like gust of wind blew through the open stone doors. Several crows flew overhead bringing a dread of destruction. They flew in a circular motion, before landing on the steep pillars, barely visible in the darken, grey sky. The crows started to sing a sullen lament. Salty tears rolled down my cheek, and dripped onto the floor. I wiped tears away as I stared into the dark abyss of the cathedral, listening to the Immemorial calls of the crows. I tore my eyes away from the church and looked down at my hands, inky black tears had stained my hands. I tried to scream but no sound came out. Frigid winds seeped out of the old building, slowly encasing me. The more I tried to scream the harder gale of the wind was. Slowly the ground slowly opened pulling me down into darkness, my head was barely visible, the swirling wind pushed me down into the earth. I screamed one last time but no one could hear it. Darkness started clouding my eyes. As the world went black, I could hear the ivory coloured stone walls calling my name.
