■ 28: my truth ■

───── No One's POV ─────

Yuna washed her face to hopefully get rid of her red eyes. The two girls then exited the washroom only to see the boys packing up.

"We're leaving now?" Ki Chul asked.

"Yeah, we've been here for a while."

They all exited the shop, the boys in front while the girls walked together behind them as they go through a park. That is until Ki Chul got a notification. It was a text from Beomgyu, and it definitely peeked her interest.

"I think I'll go ahead. Beomgyu, could you bring me home?" she announces.

"Yeah, sure" The two held hands as they walked away from the group.

"I think me and Yeonjun-hyung have to go, too. Taehyun, you should come with us. I think your mom needs you right now." Soobin said as he glanced towards the other two with a knowing look.

"Right. We'll see you at home, Hyuka! And we'll see you around, Yuna."

And then there were two left in the park, with a tense silence surrounding them. And Yuna just wanted to get out of there.

"Are you sure you're alright?" she heard the latter asked, his voice full of worry.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine" she assured which he didn't buy.

"You don't seem fine"

"What do you-"

"Is it because of what I said earlier?" Kai cut her off with this question making her surprised.

"What?" she scoffed. "Why would I be upset by that? I mean, its the truth, isn't it? We're just friends. Its not like we established anything else. Nothing more, nothing less. So, I really have no rights to be upset becau-"

Yuna yelped in shock when she was pulled by the hand. Her eyes were closed, but she felt liked she bumped into someone's clothed soft chest. She then took the courage to slowly open her eyes and look up only to see Kai looking at her with a hopeful gaze. 

"I don't think I was entirely truthful with my words earlier, nor do I want it to be the truth." he said as he gently pulled back a strand of her hair behind her ear.
