Annabeth's POV:

"Annabeth, at least try to have a good day. I know you may not enjoy it here because you're different, but you have Thalia here too right?" Annabeth's dad, Fredrick commented setting a hand gently on his daughters' shoulder quickly pulling back. He must've felt... What's the word... Awkward. Annabeth and her dad, they're connecting. But by sending Annabeth to a new school, and not so close to camp, that made her have mixed feelings about her father, Fredrick Chase. Not forgetting unsafe. "Yeah. Thanks for nothing." Annabeth said sighing as she watched kids out from the van window.

She would definitely NOT fit in here. She knew NOONEhere. Except Thalia Grace. Her best friend. Anyway, "Annabeth, please. I'm trying here. Alright?" Fredrick flinched as a skateboarder boy nearly bumped into the car window on his side. Fredrick sighed. "Give me a chance. If you---" "Oh, come ON dad. I've already given you several chances!" She stepped out of the car as her dad shouted her name. she slammed the door without looking back but Annabeth did feel bad. Like, C'mon. It's her dad for crying out loud. But she definitely was "ready" (Sarcasm)  for her first day of mortal school.

The school was a NUT JOB. As she made her way through the front door of the school, what was the name again? Oh yeah. Goode High School. (She sure hoped the school was good. see what I did there?) Anyway, Annabeth peered around. What. A. Mess. The pegasi stables at camp were nicer than this! Papers flew everywhere, blue and red lockers slammed loudly echoing through the halls, kids getting into physical and verbel fights as teachers held kids back, jocks tossing footballs all around. But Annabeth didnt have time to admire the rest of the school. Because a older kid probably purposely shoved into her making her stumble. But she caught her balance. "Maybe you shouldn't be standing there." He said giving her a look as his friend gave her an apoligising look. At least that girl seemed nice. As she traveled through the crowed hall after going to the main office, she got lost. ONCE AGAIN. She sighed loudly slapping her time table to her side as she bumped into a jock and his gang. "Hey! Watch it!" The boy snapped. then his face softened into a "scary" look. "So you're the newbie huh, I didn't expect you to be so hot." He crossed his arms and chuckled smirking at Annabeth. The boy scanned her head to toe which made her uncomforatable. "Haec tibi semper sint stupidi, sentis?" (Are you always this stupid, idiot?) Annabeth demanded and shook her head disappointed. "Ah. I see. a forgein exchange student." He chuckled fist bumping a taller boy behind him. "Excellent." He smirked. But Annabeth wasn't going to be pushed around. NOT on her first day. Expecially by a group of self-centered airheads. "You know what, I actually like school. so, nice talking to you, but i'm gonna go." She gave them a fake sarcastic smile and bumped him hard with her shoulder. But he didnt like that. "Woah, woah, woah! Where do you think you're going blondie?!" He grabbed her arm sqeezzing hard.

"Somewhere FAR away from you." Annabeth managed. She felt as if she couldn't feel her arm anymore.

"I don't think so." The boy growled furiously shoving her against a wall causing her to groan in pain. He pressed his forearm against her throat. She gasped for air. Unfortunately, people just glanced over leaving Annabeth stranded with this stranger who was a BIG moron.

But, by reflex, she grabbed his wrist judo-flipping him as the others attacked. One by one, she flipped them all attracting a large crowd. Slowly, she inhaled taking in her surroundings. Just then, a girl pushed through the crowd and glanced at all the groaning boys on the floor then slowly smiled looking up at Annabeth. She reconized her instantly. Thalia Grace. Her best friend since she was seven years old. She looked about the same. Well, she's immortal sooo...

Thalia wore the same punk "hunter" clothes, she had the same spiky black hair, and shocking intense electric blue eyes. She had her bow over her shoulder and arrows on her back, and she had a hunter knife strapped to her side. But by the mist, the mortals probably couldn't see it. Thalia had a stern look at her face. She looked disappointed at Annabeth, but Annabeth could tell by the smile on Thalias' face that she approved of Annabeths little First day of school fight.

"That's the Annabeth I remember from Camp Ha---" As soon as Thalia remembered she had an audiance, she quickly shut her mouth and told everyone to scram. Which they did, probably because they feared Thalia. She was the rebel, and kinda "Come near me, and i'll beat you to death." girl. So Annabeth couldn't really blame them for following Thalia's commands.

Thalia surged forward sqeezzing Annabeth in a hug nearly crushing her insides. As she pulled away, her expresstion stayed nearly the same. "You almost mentioned Camp Half-Blood." Annabeth noted as Thalia shrugged. "Sorry." though, she didn't sound like she meant it. Then, Thalia grabbed her arm steering her through the hall as Annabeth shouldered her bag. "What do you think you're doing Annabeth?" She whispered, her voice full of warning. "You can't just judo-flip people."
