The Devil On My Shoulder

chapter 4: first time

Alex's POV

        I walked right up to him and said, ''That's cute. Do you like these sort of things?'' I felt kinda stupid after I said it. But he replied, ''Yeah I do. My name is James. What's yours?'' He said as he held out his hand. I shook it and said, ''Alex.'' ''Well it's nice to meet you Alex.''

James's POV

        Wow this really cute guy comes in the store and walks up to me. But then I realize its the demon from before. I get nervous but hide it. We make small talk about things in the shop and them he suddenly asks, ''Do you want to go somewhere else? Somewhere private?'' ''Sure'' I say. ''But wh-'' Before I can finish my sentence, he, Alex drags me out of the store and starts walking down a side road. Soon we reach a secluded spot in the woods. He stops and turns around. Im kinda scared now.

Alex's POV

          I turn to look at James. He's trembling slightly and that might be I turned around in a sort-of threatening manner. ''I know your that angel I saw when we went to battle. I don't want to fight, I just want to get to know you, OK?'' He looks up and nods and all I can think is Damn he's cute. We sit down on the ground and I  face towards him.

James's POV

           All morning we just ask each other pointless questions and I'm trying to hold it together. He just looks so kissable right now, Burt its wrong. Heavenly people cannot be gay. Its forbidden. God would kill me if he found out. Suddenly, Alex jumps up. ''Shit! I have to go. I'm sorry. We will meet again.'' He kisses me on the cheek and runs away. I'm stuck for a second. He kissed me. Me! I get up and make my way to the portal to heaven, still thinking about the kiss.

Alex's POV

          Shit shit shit. I'm going to be late for morning line up! I know I should be more worried, but all I can think about is the kiss. Why did I do it? Did he like it? So now I'm awaiting our next meeting.
