The rebirth

Adelaide Jacobson was walking the streets of London on a cold winters day in the year of 1799, She was cold, wet, and alone. In the same year Adelaide had lost her baby brother Alexander and father to illness only two months apart from each other. Adelaide's mother had passed when she was at the tender age of 16 a time when a girl needed her mother more then ever. She was ill with heart failure and her body could not save it's self.  Adelaide missed her family very much. She missed her moms laugh and the way she sang to her as a girl. She also missed her dads scent, the smell remined her of how his pipe smelled. Lastly She missed Alex and the way he would hold on to her and ask her to read story's to him and play war. After the loss of her mother Adelaide was the main cook, cleaner and care taker to Alex. So when him and her father fell ill she was the one to be by their sides, all the way until the end. This left Adelaide alone and she didn't know it at the time very sick and dying. She wondered the streets in the cold in a dazed from fever. That is how she ended lay in an alley when Matthew found her. He changed her into a vampire and her life changed from there
