Life is a journey
You need supplies
You will learn an unimaginable size
You need love you need faith
Trust in it and you will be safe
You need water you need food
Life will be easier if your in a good mood
A backpack of food and water
Will cool me off when it gets hotter
It's as essential as a mothers love
I will fly through hardships like a war dove
It is necessary to keep my alive
And with it i will thrive
A picture of my loved ones will keep me going
In maturity I will be growing
I will see them in a few years
I will shed my childish fears
I miss them and they miss me
I will accomplish unimaginable feats
I love my family their dear in my heart
Though we are one thousand miles away we will never part
Faith that whatever comes my way
Trust in God and I will be saved
He guides me and nourishes my mind
The holy spirit is truly divine
I love my God the only one for me
To the gate of knowledge he is the key
In my heart he is number one
I've trusted in him my journey is far from done
Here the smooth road finally begins
Though the rigid one will never end
All of my hardships will be repeated
I trusted in him the tough part is completed
I know the devil will tempt me with greed
But if I trust in God I will not do the deed
Now I go to see my family once more
I cant wait till I get to the door
20 years later at a different door
I finally walk in and see my family once more
