dancing with your ghost

You smiled placing a hand on the wall and staring at the old painting displayed in the middle of the mansion. You hummed remembering what you two used to do. You started humming as you closed your eyes, slowly dancing.

"Y/n?"
A voice called out as you looked at him and smiled. "Arashi... It's been a while," you spoke as he smiled holding your hands. Both of you looked at each other lovingly as both of you started to slow dance in the middle of the room. The sound of the wind echoed through the room as he softly hummed.

"Arashi, why?"
you asked as he looks at you confused, both of you stopped dancing as you faced him.

"Why do you keep showing up when I go here? You're dead now."
you spoke as you bit your lower lip. His face softens as he strokes your cheek gently.

"Do you want me to disappear?"
he asked as you melted into his hand and looked at him. You were hesitating to answer. He smiles hugging you.

"Whatever your answer will be. I'll accept it,"
he spoke as you hugged him back. Both of you stayed like that for a minute before you faced him and smiled.

"How about we have our last dance here and when midnight struck... You're free."
you spoke as he smiled nodding.

Both of you looked at each other as he placed his hand on your waist while his other held yours. You smiled as both of you started to slow dance, the moon being the only source of light. You felt time stop for the both of you, he hummed softly as both of you slow danced towards the garden.

Even when the place was abandoned 10 years ago, the garden was still in place, it was still the same as it was years ago. You both looked at each other lovingly as both of you stopped in the middle of the garden.

"Arashi,"
you called out to him as he looked at you. "Yes, Y/n?"

"Wait for me 'kay?"
you spoke as he smiled softly wiping your tears. "I will love. I'll wait for you," he spoke as midnight finally came. He slowly disappeared a both of you held hands.

"It was enchanting to meet you... Y/n,"
he spoke before finally disappearing. You then opened your eyes, tears falling from your eyes, and you were accompanied by silence and the cool air carried by the midnight breeze. You softly smiled and wiped your tears away. You looked at the painting and then exited the old mansion.

"It was enchanting to meet you, Arashi."
