hello! i really don't expect anyone to read this so i have no idea why i am writing this story, but then again, i don't have much to do while staying awake at 4am. mmm insomniac issues. i write in they/them pronouns so feel free to change them but i can always rewrite it in other pronouns if you guys want me to<33
also, throughout the story there will be a few a/n's (author notes) and they will be in italic like this, to make it clearer for u guys<3
i just wanted to say before we begin i made this story up during a history class when i was supposed to be writing an essay down. i failed the essay, and now i'm writing this.

9/7/22- every time i write in this book i nearly put my name as y/n, as river is actually nearly all based off of my irl bestfriend kai, so it gets quite confusing.😭
