I was walking to the grocery store, only planning to get a few snacks and drinks. I was walking through the produce aisle, and some apples caught my eye. "Huh those look interesting" I thought to myself as I couldn't keep my eyes off them. I reminded myself that I'm only here to get a few items, then I proceeded to walk away. I got everything I needed, and I was on my way to the checkout. But I couldn't stop thinking about those apples.
I kept thinking back to the beautiful pink and orange color that caught my eye in the first place, so beautiful. I bet It's as delicious as it looks, probably sweet, maybe a little tangy, but that's what makes a good apple. I've never really liked apples, refusing to eat them as a kid. But dear god those apples looked delicious, they stand out so much from all the other apples, such a beautiful color. I was slowly making my way across the store, debating between just leaving, or going back to get the apple. Right before I reach the checkout, I make my decision. I'm going back to get that apple.
I rush through the store, making my way back to the fruit and veggies. I try to remember where they were, and as I turn down an aisle, I see them. The very fruit that caught my eye almost as soon as I walked in. I needed to get at least one. I had to. I walk up the display, the color more beautiful than I remembered. I look at the price, Jesus that's expensive, it's almost twice the price as the other apples! But it'll be worth it, at least I hope it will. I pick one up and add it to my cart. Time to check out.
I get home, finally. I can finally try the apple that I've been longing to get a hold of ever since I went to the store. I grab it out of the bag, my soft fingertips grazing over the skin of the beautiful apple. I was actually scared to take a bite, what if it wasn't as good as I hoped it'd be? What if it was actually nasty, and I had just wasted all that money on something that I didn't even like? I slowly raise the apple closer and closer to my face. I swallow and I get ready to take a bite.
I finally sink my teeth into the skin of the apple, slowly biting a chunk of it off. I chew it slowly, trying to make sure I can take all of its flavor in. I almost cry, it tastes amazing. I've never tasted anything like it before. It was exactly how I expected it to be, actually no, it tasted better than that. It was extremely sweet, with a slight hint of tanginess.
The flavor brought tears to my eyes, I was overwhelmed with how good it tasted. I might just stop buying snacks, and continue to buy these apples for good. Who needs useless snacks and drinks when you can have such a deliciously juicy apple to snack on. It was amazing, I finished the entire apple in less than a minute. I was sad when I realized I had finished it all, but oh well. I could always go back to the store tomorrow.

RandomI wrote a fanfiction about apples for ELA class, and I wanted to post it somewhere so I could remember my masterpiece. So might as well post them on Wattpad, along with whatever random stories I ever feel like writing.
