Henry POV

I frantically grappled at the ebony remote, decreasing the loud volume on my TV. My hands quivered with adrenaline - knowing that if a second later, and the neighbours would have heard the likes of my mature program. In quick relief, I quietly resumed the alluring scene - my mind racing to the physical aspects of such a sexual tension.
It was a rarity for me to crave this alone pleasure, but my body had rushed to the gesture; my dignity once again crumbling to a rich desire.

I slid my hands down to my hips, fumbling with the leather belt that restricted me. In bare anticipation, I locked my eyes onto the lustrous static - a warmth latching between my thighs. My fingers laced through my jeans, unbuttoning the metal lock to friction - unzipping the zip that held such contentment. Within a reach, I was able to feel my desire; releasing such tension through the mediocre act... but just before I could, I felt something sharp. My phone shocked me to my senses, it's harsh notification pulsing away my wandering intentions.

I once again reached to the remote, halting the scene from advance. Then reaching into my back pocket - and aggressively plundering my phone from it's usual location. Why now, Right at this moment? My eyes darted to the luminous screen; scanning the text message that had interrupted my emotion. My stomach lurched at the name, in horrific realisation. within my self-absorbed momentum; I had utterly forgotten of my evening plans, god damn it - I had no time to myself! I zipped my jeans back up, collecting the minority of my possessions and switching off the TV. My heart thudded as I leapt from my bed, colours reeling through my vision in the motion. I ignored the troubling sensation and left my room, quickly grabbing my car keys and glasses on the venture through my flat, turning the lights off and exiting the all-too-familiar premises.

The conclusive eventide swept me to full consciousness, thank god I didn't live too far away from the pizzeria. I tucked in my working shirt, as I hadn't changed clothes from my evening shift, and propelled my legs down the flights of stairs, to the very bottom floor.
My chest still cantered as I fell to the last step; power walking my way to my run-down car; I was one of the only inhabitants to use a car - with such vast civilisation.
I unlocked the vacant vehicle and clambered inside; aware of how late I was. I took a minute to inspect my freckle-dusted face, plastering a bright cheery expression to test my appearance - but was satisfied with the unsuspecting expression. Adjusting my glasses, I automated the rumbling engine - throwing my stuff into the passenger seat, upon a pile of paperwork. You better be thankful for this, William...

I backed the car into the empty main road that lay across the estate, the bare sandy dunes of hurricane swaying in the harsh wind. I hated driving in the dark, however the suspecting storm had potential to further complicate the experience. My engine swerved into a smooth pace, the car rolling along the lone road. It may have been possible to cancel this meeting, if my wittiness had driven me to a rational excuse - but I felt obliged to meet with my boss, after the previous... cancellation.

Switching on the radio, my mind was met with ease. The soft static glitch could always comfort me. When I brought the car, it had been reported in a pedestrian accident - the sides bashed in and the engine disfigured, but with a motivation, I had spent all summer fixing the rusted piece up. I was ensured even my boss had been impressed, with the stares he had given it. I now fell to comfort with the imperfections of the vehicle.

In relief of the time, I margined the empty roads with haste - arriving within exactly five minutes of my leave. I swerved into the empty car park and parked into the front space. I could see William's vehicle parked in its usual element; gathering more dust than mud. But unusually, his was the only car there. Ignoring the gesture, I muted my dysfunctional radio and grabbed my belongings, reluctant to leave my rumbling sanctuary...

Any constructive criticism is appreciated!! :))
